CHAPTER 24 - PART 1

At XIAO MANSION...

It has been four days since the young heir and his little husband has been punished by Mr. Xiao and the boys did an effort to ask forgiveness from the elder Xiao by making a cake for him and the elder who can never be angry at his boys when saw the gestures of the boys felt elated and warmth spread in his heart as the gesture made him realize how much his boys love him, and the Xiao mansion from that evening has been back to its liveliness as the boys when went into their 24 hours of grounding the mansion went into silence as the only person who adds life to the abode of the richest person in China is Yibo the better half of Xiao Zhan and the boy was grounded with his husband for one day so the mansion was silent from past 24 hours and the kittens who used to run in the mansion were silent too and were settled in the lap of Elder Xiao from the time Mr. Xiao took the kittens with them which even made Mr. Xiao shocked as he had never seen both of these kittens this silent because whenever they were with Yibo they used to make him run behind him till the boy is exhausted or settled on the sofa with a pout but with Mr. Xiao they were obedient which made the elder ponder why were the kittens Yibo this much silent but the very next day he got the answer when early in the morning he saw Yibo running behind Ying as soon as he put the kitten in Yibo's lap he ran away from there to only hid behind the sofas making the boy pout and Mr. Xiao seeing the scene chuckled as he realized that these kittens become naughty in front of the big kitten only as they love to play with him.

Zhan who also has been watching the scene while sitting at the table drinking his morning tea wanted to laugh as the boy was looking too cute to him but seeing the boy sulking he refrained himself from laughing as he knows that even if he will laugh then Yibo will burst into tears and that is the sight which he is never ready to witness so he kept his cup on the table and moved toward the black kitten who is hiding behind the sofa and after doing so handed it over to Yibo making the big kitten smile as he kissed his husband's cheek making Zhan a little bit startled as this is the second time Yibo have done something like this so he just shrugged his thoughts and after grabbing his briefcase and overcoat left dor the office with a flushed face and Mr. Xiao when saw the action of Yibo was a little bit startled but when saw Zhan's face wanted to laugh out aloud as he has never seen his son this flustered but controlled himself as he spoke,

"So my punishment finally had some result!"

The clock is striking at 7:00 pm of the evening and in the Xiao Mansion the kitten boy is seen in the kitchen preparing dinner for his family as he knows that his husband and papa will be arriving soon from the office and right now the kitten boy is seen in the kitchen frying meatballs for his today's dish but there is a cute little pout on his face as he was again left at the mansion by his papa but this time it was not the reason for the boy's pout as the reason was that Mr. Xiao was showing Yibo the marriage photos of him and Mrs. Xiao and telling him about her as today when Yibo was with Mr. Xiao in his study he stumbled upon the box of photos which made the boy curious so he took the box to Mr. Xiao and the elder when saw the box immediately opened it with excitement and as he saw the photos of him and Mrs. Xiao he felt warmth in his heart with a tinge of pain which made his eyes teary but he immediately composed himself as he doesn't want Yibo to panic so to hide his emotions he startled telling the story of every photo to Yibo making the boy giggle and whole of their afternoon was spent like this and Mr. Xiao after showing those photos to Yibo for four hours when asked the boy if he would like to see Zhan's childhood photos, the boy got elated as he really wants to see how his Zhan ge looked when he was a child.
