I packed my bag, checked all the necessary documents,made a folder for them and kept it handy in the smaller bag, I got my passport,an extra ID proof, phone and my other buisness phone and my earphones in my all purpose case so I don't have go all the way in other bags. Phew! Packing can be tiring. I checked my phone and saw two messages from Seb asking if I'm done packing. Well he was on his way to pick me up for the airport. Jamie, Elizabeth and Mr.Smith were at the airport already after the office.
Finally I'll be leaving my lovely city into a new city, and not any city but Paris!! I'm living my dream life!! I was pulled from my thoughts by a car horn. It was Seb.
"Get your dreamy ass down princess" he yelled
What a dramatic bitch seb is but he was kinda right.
"Hahh,bold of you to assume you got a smart ass bitch!" I mimicked him from earlier sticking my middle finger out.
He bowed his head and chuckled,"Yeah yeah keep telling yourself that. Just keep your phone and passport with you, and hand me your other luggage"
"Yeah dad"
"And you're welcome my child" he said laughing
The trip to the airport was quite good except me and seb exchanging a few insults and he was a literal dad all the way telling me do's and don'ts. Jeez I pity his future daughter!
And we arrived at the airport.Seb parked his car and took my luggage when I saw all the beautiful people in my life standing with half sad half happy faces.
"Hey beautiful people" I waved with my free hand and everyone hugged me
"I'm gonna miss you a lot Pri!" Jamie said with a smile and tears forming in his eyes.
"I'm gonna miss you too Jamie and yeah I still don't like that nickname but it's kinda growing on me"I winked
"Oh I knew it, girl!"He grinned proudly
"Take care of yourself Pri,I loved to have you around. Please tell me you're gonna visit us soon girl, I need to refill my soul energy after handling this big baby" Lizzy said pointing to Jamie who made a weird face and started laughing
"Sure Lizzy,and about that big baby, sis I can't help ya,you chose it" we all laughed.
"Alright ladies, April, in this are all emergency contacts you'll ever need and a few official numbers from the France branch, just in case you lose your phone" Mr.Smith said handing me a small diary which I took and placed it in my hand pouch with my passport.
I bid my goodbyes and was walking towards checking, Seb was walking with me up to the entrance, he is like a brother to me and he was the most sad one type.
He pulled me into a hug,"April, you're the best sister I could ever get so please take care of yourself for a while till I get there and irritate your ass"he said with tears in his eyes."
"I will, Seb, and dude don't miss me much, it's just Paris,you could hop on a plane and meet me anytime you want, after all your such a rich ass"I was doing my best not to cry.
"Sure! Just know one thing we all love you so much and we're so proud of you my little baby girl"he said with a smile but now crying.
"And Love you too bro! Thanks for handling my tantrums"
An announcement caught our attention about my flight and we looked at each other. "And this is my cue I guess"I said hugging Seb once more before I return again after 2-3 months.
"Yeah I guess...Hey be safe okay and know that there are people who are waiting for you to return safely!"
"Yeah babe, chillax I got this shit"I winked making him chuckle.
"Sure you do. And text me asap as you land okay"
"Yeah I will, Seb"
"Gonna miss you."
"Me too Seb"
I took my bags and started to walk away while Seb stood there for a while and went back to everyone else. I boarded my plane and texted it to everyone before I had to put my phone on flight mode.
Goodbye my New York City, we'll meet soon... And... Paris, here I come!
