"My goodness Seb! Calm your ass! I lost that fucking phone!!" She spoke in a single breath.
"On your freaking first day!?"
"Yeah dad! look if you're gonna lecture me about it please don't! I'm fucking tired. And you shouldn't be surprised if I fall asleep right away."
"Yeah save it! Are you fine?" I asked her concerned
"Yeah, Seb, I'm fine...just tired though"she huffed
"Uh huh.. Hey look it's fine if you lost a few things. But what did you actually lose?"
"Just the phone and earphones. I have the necessary things like my passport and all"
"April look, I won't be mad, I'm so worried right now, did you lose your cards and baggage and are you stranded somewhere in the middle of the city?" I asked pacing around the living room.
I swear if she said yes, I already have my passport in my hand and I am about to leave to get on a plane to Paris.
"Seb, my love, my darling, I'm at the hotel provided by the company and I have my cards and baggage. And I lost my business phone in a car okay!"
"Okay. Are you sure?!"
"Yeah Seb, and now calm your ass, keep away that passport of yours, no need to get on a plane chasing my ass here" I can see her smiling on this sentence
I chuckled at what she said and smiled to myself.
"You take care okay," I said in a normal tone.
"You too Seb, and sorry you got all tensed up" a sorry tone in her voice .
"That's just you being you" I mocked her at the last part of her sentence.
"You're an asshole"
"And yet you love me" I laughed.
"Seb, I am gonna sleep now,I'm tired"
"Yeah sure, take care, love you and do text me okay"
"Yeah dad, you too take care and love you more "she giggled
"Bye "
"Bye Dad" she mocked me and giggled
I laughed at everytime she called me dad. Maybe I'm becoming an overprotective dad but that's a good thing right?
