She came downstairs asking Maria where she was, she came to the kitchen and froze.
She wore a grey denim shorts and a black t-shirt, and her beautiful brown hairs were left down forming natural curls.
I'm sure she will definitely scream and get all excited so I started the conversation, "Olà!" I grinned showing my perfect teeth.
"How have you been?" she asked with a smile on her lips and tears in her eyes.
I was visibly surprised by this, I mean I should be the one asking her this but she asked me.
I don't know why but that simple question soothed my heart. I felt like someone genuinely wanted to know how I was doing.
I'm not gonna lie but if she asks me this again I would fucking cry like a baby.
"Ay Neymar! She asked you something" maria smirked seeing my expression. She's so much annoying.
"Yeah, I'm...I'm fine I guess. Actually I should be asking you this right?" I asked looking between April and Maria.
"It's fine Ney..mar, we're all dealing with our own devils everyday so doesn't really matter who asks whom, it just feels nice if someone asks you 'how have you been' " she smiled
I loved how she called me Ney, but she saved it smoothly by adding -mar at the end. Good save.
"Sim. Join us for breakfast?" I smiled, half asking and half stating.
"Uhh...sure...if it's fine with you" she asked with a hesitant voice.
April I would love to have a breakfast with such a cool person like you I screamed internally
"Por que eu não seria April?" I laughed.

"Porque talvez seja incomum você tomar café da manhã com pessoas não tão famosas" she smiled and looked towards Maria who was looking at her with heart eyes.

Did she just low key roast me?! Deus!! This woman!!!
Maria laughed,"Você fala portuguès!?"
"Sim, mas não é tão bom, ainda estou aprendendo"
[Yes, but it's not that good, I'm still learning]
"It feels good sometimes to be with not-so-famous people" I grinned and she let out a small laugh.
We were served pancakes with maple syrup.
We were having breakfast, when April spoke, "Thanks a lot for yesterday, I don't have enough words to thank you, really." she smiled to me.
"It's fine really, I didn't wanted your first day here to be ruined" I flashed a not so flashy smile.
"How did you know?" she asked confused
"Sabe o que?" I asked her absent minded
[Know what?]
"That it was my first day here" she questioned
"Ahhh....uhmm actually we're...I mean we met this for the second time...well technically it's third time, one at airport, two at the bar and now third here, having breakfast" I grinned
