I wonder why I loved you
I wonder why I can't let you go
All I did was lock my love for you away
Refusing to ever reopen the door
I never let myself grieve your leave
So I can't say I stopped loving you
I locked away our memories and love
Each day I get closer to opening that door
I can feel the essence of our love escaping out the cracks of the door
I'm starting to feel my love for you again
The longing and the sadness
Even though I know you'll never come back
Apart of me is tempted to suck up the essence
And love you all over again...
