The gateway to my mind [Poetry]

Steal the light of a shining star
Leave it empty with no glow
Take more light until you shine
Make it dull while you shine bright

The smaller it grows as you take all you can
The bigger you get while you take all it's land
You become the brightest star in the sky
While it becomes the one that meets no ones eyes

The least you could have done was leave some behind
But instead your greed sucked it dry
It's become more dull and begins to shrink each time

But in the end it's still a star
That one day will shine once more without the need to steal another's glow
And soon the light you stole will become dull and fade out
And mabye then you'll realize it was never worth it at all?
