It was late at night in the City of Vale. But while mostly everyone was asleep, two homeless men named Phil and Ernie were busy searching through a garbage can for anything valuable.
Phil: "Bingo"!
Phil exclaimed as he flipped the glass bottle in his hand.
Ernie: "Don't break it, fumble fingers, every lien counts"!
Phil: *glares* "I never break 'em".
Ernie: *laughs* "You break 'em all the time".
Phil: "Heh, heh, I guess I do". "That's it for this gold mine". "Let's move on".
And so, the two went off to find another trash can and or dumpster to search for anything else that they could trade for some lien. But as they were walking, neither of them noticed a large black armored garbage truck following them.
Later on, Phil and Ernie found a dumpster and started sifting through the trash for something that could be worth some lien. However, their attention was suddenly drawn towards the sound of a vehicle heading their way. And when they looked, they saw the large garbage truck.
Ernie: "What the..."?
The truck's headlights suddenly turned on and left Phil and Ernie suddenly blinded by a menacing red light. The moment they saw that the truck was heading straight for them they made a run for it. The two could do nothing but shout for help as they ran as fast as they could. But unfortunately, they eventually became cornered when they ran into a dead end. They turned around with looks of horror as two mechanical arms on the sides of the truck unfurled and the pincers on the arms grabbed both of the homeless men by their heads before dropping them into the back.
All became quiet as the garbage truck drove away from the scene.
Meanwhile, at a garbage dump, a few homeless people stood around campfires. The Battle Shell could be seen parked near a mountain of trash while the turtles and Team RWBY were searching through said pile of trash...well...with the exception of Mikey and Ruby that is. As the two of them were currently busy riding their skateboards up the trash piles.
Mikey: "All right"! "Green, mean, and totally extreme"! "Booyah"!
Yelled Mikey as he rode up a trash pile and used it as a ramp to get some air to do a trick. And as he landed, he quickly looked back to see how Ruby was doing.
Mikey: "How're you holding up back there, Ruby"?!
Ruby: "I'm having fun"!
Mikey/Ruby: "WOO-HOO"!
They both yelled as they rode past the others who were currently sifting through heaps of garbage. Though as they continued to do so, Raph suddenly placed his hands on...a disgusting red substance that now covered his hand.
Raph: "Ugh"!
Raph exclaimed in disgust as he shook the gunk off his hand.
Raph: "Hey Don, you don't want something that's so gross you don't want to touch it, right"?
Donnie: "If it's gonna improve the lair, we can use it".
Weiss: "Remind me again why you decided to invite us over for this"?
Leo: "I mean, we said that you didn't have to come if you didn't want to".
Yang: "He's got a point".
Weiss: *sighs* "Whatever, let's just keep searching for...whatever it is you guys need".
Weiss said as she continued searching through the garbage. Though as she was doing so, a rat crawled up her hand, which caused her to jump back in fright and repeatedly yell "EW"! She eventually slapped the rat away which landed in Blake's hands who then gently petted the little animal with her finger before setting it down and letting it run off.
