The dance was officially underway! People were already on the dance floor and moving in rhythm to the music. While Weiss finished organizing some things, Yang's job was to welcome people to this special event. And speaking of which, the sound of the doors opening caught her attention. And she instantly became happy upon seeing her sister in her beautiful dress.
Yang: "Ooohh, you look beautiful"!
Yang might've had a good opinion about her sister's look, but Ruby was not at all a fan of the high heels she was forced to wear. Which made sense with how she was struggling to keep her balance while walking with them. Which begged the question...
Ruby: "Can we have a serious talk about how Weiss fights in these"?
As Ruby was walking over to Yang, much to her older sister's amusement, Ruby was continuously struggling to maintain her balance. It was only thanks to her training with Master Splinter in the art of balance that she hasn't fallen down yet.
Weiss: "It gets easier when you get used to them".
Weiss stated as she came over and caught Ruby just when she lost her balance again.
Ruby: "So...have any of you heard from Blake"?
Weiss and Yang looked at each other and looked down in disappointment and sadness. Yang especially since when she had talked to Blake, it looked like she had really gotten through to her. But...
???: "Looking for me"?
Ruby, Weiss, and Yang widened their eyes as they looked toward the doorway to see Blake standing there dressed up and looking more alive than she's been for the past few days.
Ruby: "Blake"!
Ruby tried running to her but ended up tripping over and falling on her face.
Ruby: *groans* "Stupid lady stilts".
Blake could only giggle as she helped her team's leader back on her feet. But the moment she did, Ruby immediately engulfed her in a hug.
Ruby: "You came"!
Blake was surprised by the hug but smiled and returned it.
Blake: "I almost didn't". "But...a few people didn't give up on me".
She said as she looked at Weiss and Yang who were both smiling at her.
Weiss: "It's about time you came to your senses".
Blake: *nods* "I had some help from Yang".
Blake turned away as a way to hide the redness in her cheeks.
Blake: *blushes* "And Leo as well..."
Weiss: "Then we'll be sure to give our thanks to Leonardo the next time we see him".
That being said, tonight has officially become the best night ever now that Blake was here. But now that begs the question...
Ruby: "So...what do we do now"?
Yang: *smirks* "What else, we have fun"!
Weiss: "I couldn't agree more".
And so the members of Team RWBY separated to do their own thing, leaving poor Ruby alone to deal with her dilemma with her heels.
Ruby: "Does that mean I can change out of these stupid things and into my hood now"?!
Her question ended up going unanswered.
Ruby: *groans* "Why did I have to wear these lady stilts"?
Ozpin: "Not enjoying yourself"?
Ruby gasped in surprise as she was not expecting Headmaster Ozpin to be standing next to her.
