It had been weeks since their battle against the Shredder and both the turtles and Team RWBY have had little to no success in finding their sensei. Any clues they've found only led them to dead ends and wherever they've already searched turned up nothing.
April: "Okay, we've searched Shredder's building and every other place the Foot have been encountered". "We've scoured every sewer tunnel, back street, and dark alley in the city with only one area left".
Donnie: *sighs* "The worst part is we don't even know if Master Splinter is still-"
Mikey: "I don't even want to think about that".
Weiss: "None of us wish to think about that, Michelangelo". "But...with so little evidence of him still being alive..."
Ruby: "W-We can't just give up"! "He has to be out there"! "He has to"!
Leo: "Ruby's right". "Until we learn otherwise, he's alive and awaiting our rescue".
Meanwhile, Raph was frustratingly striking a punching bag until he suddenly slashed it with his sais, spilling its contents onto the floor.
Raph: "I'm done coming home empty-handed"! "We find Splinter tonight"!
The sound of engines made everyone turn their attention to the lair's entrance where Yang could be seen on her bike.
Yang: "Alright, we have a lot of ground to cover"! "So let's go"!
And so, everyone split up to cover more ground as they searched the only part of the city they hadn't checked yet for any sign of Master Splinter. With Mikey and Ruby searching the sewer tunnels, Raph and Yang driving through the streets on their respective motorcycles, Donnie and Weiss flying over the city with wind gliders, and April driving through the junkyard in the Battle Shell while scanning for any sign of Master Splinter.
Although it would seem that April wasn't doing so well as she continuously crashed into several piles of trash and scrap metal, could somebody help her, please?
Meanwhile, Leo and Blake searched the streets on foot. They had just finished searching through an old warehouse, but to their dismay, they found absolutely nothing. But it was when they were about to leave that Leo's shell cell started ringing, prompting him to answer it.
Leo: "Please tell me someone found something".
Mikey (comms): "Nada from the sewers".
Weiss (comms): "Nothing on the roofs either".
April (comms): "Or the junkyard". "Lots of rats, but none of them ours".
Raph (comms): "Man, where is he"?
Leo: "Keep it cool, Raph". "We'll find him".
Speaking of Raph, he was driving around the streets when he came to a stop when he saw a carjacker wrenching open the door of a car that had stopped.
Driver: "Hey, what"?
Before the driver knew what was happening, the carjacker proceeded to pull him out of the car and throw him to the ground before climbing into the car and driving off.
Driver: "Help"! "That's my car"!
It would seem that despite the Shredder being gone, crime didn't seem to lessen.
Raph: "Buddy, have you picked the wrong night"!
Raph says as he races after the carjacker who immediately sped up the moment he saw Raph coming after him in the rearview mirror. But despite speeding up, the carjacker found that he couldn't lose sight of Raph as the red-masked turtle was quickly catching up to him. Forcing the carjacker to attempt to lose him by utilizing evasive maneuvers to knock over objects to create obstacles to slow Raph down. Unfortunately for him, Raph simply smiled in amusement as he easily maneuvered around each obstacle without losing his speed.
