The day after the Beacon Dance, Ozpin was sitting in his office with an understandably frustrated and angered Ironwood.

Ironwood: "They were here...Ozpin, they were here"!

Glynda: "We're very much aware of that"! "Thank you, James".

Ironwood: "Fantastic"! "You're aware"! "Now are we going to do something about it or should we just stay the course and continue to ignore what's right in front of us"?!

Ozpin: "Enough". "Arguing like this will get us nowhere".

Ironwood: *sighs* "Right, because there is a definite threat we need to discuss". "But more importantly, where is Saki"? "He was supposed to be here".

Glynda: "Saki had to leave because of business matters". "Because, though he might be part of this inner circle, he is still a businessman".

Ironwood: "This is an important matter that he can't simply ignore".

Ozpin: "And he didn't". "You do recall every piece of information he's given us the night of the break-in". "One that I must remind you that he had stopped". "And we should be thanking him for doing so".

Ironwood: "All we know is Saki's description of the intruder". "That she wore a mask, used glass, and her clothing lit up in flames each time she attacked".

Glynda: "Save for the glass, that sounds like the woman I fought the night we met Ruby".

Ironwood: "Embedding Dust into clothing is an age-old technique". "It could have been anyone". "So now we're back to square one with a severe lack of evidence and information of what their next move could be".

Ozpin: "That is not necessarily true". "Saki had mentioned something about strange Grimm activity in the southeast quadrant". "Which could possibly be due to negativity emanating from people in hiding".

Ironwood: "Then there we have it". "We send as many troops as we can to the southeast, find out exactly what's going on, and eradicate any forces that stand in our way".

In response to that, Glynda gave Ironwood a look of frustration.

Glynda: "Why must your answer to everything involve a triumphant display of military bravado"?! "You treat every situation like it's a contest of measuring di-"

Ozpin: *holds up hand* "Glynda".

Glynda: *crosses arms* "Well he does".

She said before she and Ozpin turned their attention back to Ironwood.

Ozpin: "She's right". "As much as I too would love to end this situation once and for all, we must remember that this may go beyond Vale". "Beyond Beacon". "And if this truly is part of some master plan for which we know not the final move, we mustn't be so bold". "Nor can we risk the spread of panic".

Ironwood could only look at Ozpin with nothing but disbelief.

Ironwood: "I have served you faithfully for years...but if you mean to tell me that your plan is to really hold the defenses, and wait-"

Ozpin: "It is not"! "You're a general, James". "So tell me, when you prepare to go to war, which do you send in first"? "The flag bearers, or the scouts"?

Ironwood simply stared at Ozpin in silence before he left in silence. And Ozpin and Glynda could only watch as he entered the elevator.

Later that night in Vale, trouble was already brewing as the Purple Dragons were once again up to no good. As two members of the gang walked up to a store and used crowbars to pry the shutter open. When Dragon Face saw that the shutter was taken care of, he walked over and looked down at a young teenage girl with purple hair tied in pigtails and was wearing a sleeveless hoodie.
