You know those times when you find yourself in a situation that makes you question how you got into the situation in the first place? Well, that is precisely the situation the turtles and Team RWBY found themselves in as they were having a standoff against three mutant abominations created from genetic experimentation.
Mikey: "Ah, I think I speak for all of us when I say 'Zoinks'"!
And as the creatures got closer to them, the turtles and Team RWBY were forced to move back inside the genetics lab. And once inside, they quickly tossed their bags away as all of the creatures entered one by one. But the moment the last one came into the lab, it spat a stream of acid at the turtles and Team RWBY. Making them all jump back before watching as the acid melted the ground they once stood on.
Raph: "That's it".
Raph said as he and everyone armed themselves and prepared for battle.
Mikey: "Okay, you guys take the three on the left".
Weiss: "There are only three, Michelangelo".
Mikey: "There's three of them and there's seven of you". "And I can just be the odd turtle out".
Yang suddenly slapped Mikey in the back of his shell to push him slightly forward.
Yang: "Oh no". "You are not sitting out on this one, Mike". "It's a team effort".
The scorpion monster swung its pincer and sent a control unit flying at the turtles and Team RWBY. Prompting all of them to jump away as the unit crashed into the ground. Everyone glared at the monsters before they all charged into battle. Everyone apart from Mikey who tip-toed his way to the side.
Ruby: "Checkmate"!
Ruby yelled, prompting Weiss and Blake to charge in and simultaneously strike the scorpion monster with their blades. Slicing and stabbing its hard exoskeleton as Donnie came in and struck the creature in the abdomen with his bo staff. However, none of the attacks even made a scratch on the creature as it lifted its pincers and swung them at Donnie, Weiss, and Blake. Forcing them to jump back only for Donnie and Blake to be caught by the monster's pincers before they were lifted and thrown away. Leaving Weiss to fight the monster on her own as she summoned a glyph and boosted herself toward it. Striking its side with her rapier before summoning more glyphs to surround the creature. She then launched herself from glyph to glyph, striking the monster as she flew by until the monster's tail wrapped around her leg. Haulting her momentum before she was thrown into the wall.
Close by, Raph charged in and kicked the rock monster by kicking it in the stomach before ducking down and letting Yang jump off his shell to punch the monster across the face, sending it flying.
Near the back of the lab, however, Leo and Ruby backed up as the acid monster approached them. They had to be careful with this opponent as touching the acid it spits out could mean their end.
When they suddenly noticed the creature charging at them, they immediately jumped away. Only for it to grab them and throw them into a metal pole. Leo and Ruby groaned as they shook their heads before helping each other stand up.
Raph grabbed Yang's hands and proceeded to swing her around in circles before letting go, allowing the momentum to send Yang flying as she smashed her shoulder into the rock monster's chest. Sending flying into a wall as the two chased after it.
Leo and Ruby saw how Donnie, Weiss, and Blake were busy fending off the scorpion monster before turning their attention back to the one that currently had acid dripping out of its mouth.
Looking at the metal pole they had crashed into, Leo sliced a piece out of it as Ruby quickly kicked the piece of metal at the creature. Only for it to spray acid at the projectile. Melting it into nothing. And Leo and Ruby could only look in shock as their mouths fell agape.
