Chapter 33

Chanel's POV

I wasn't really sure where to start.

"Well it started my freshmen year of high school, Zach was a sophomore.
I guess we met in an unlikely situation. I was going to the bathroom and I could here someone crying.
It was Zach. He was having a panic attack in the janitors closet."

I was crying again, but Jordan just held on to me tighter.

I blew my nose before continuing. "I don't remember much after that still, but I do remember the more we hung out the less he had panic attacks. When he did though, they were very bad...." I trailed off, losing myself in my own thoughts.

"In some weird way, his panic attacks brought us closer, he asked me out and we dated for 3 years. We decided to break it off when I moved here." I looked up at him. He just had a blank expression in his face.

"Do you still love him?" He finally spoke.

"I mean, I guess... I don't know. We've gone through so much. You don't just stop loving someone by putting miles between the two of them." I really hope I didn't upset him.

I could feel his grip around me loosen.

"I'm tired, I'm going to bed, do you need a ride home?" He asked getting up.

I was some what shocked. He just begged for a second chance and now he is kicking me out.

"Oh umm I don't think so" I said looking down embarrassed.
He gave me a quick side hug and got into bed.
"Night" I whispered. I waited for a response but never got one.

I sat at the top of the stairs and just thought about what just happened.

I don't even know why he is upset. He's the one who asked me.

I didn't want to be found sitting at the top of their stairs so I left, without getting an explanation.

It wasn't until I was half way down the stairs that I realized I forgot my keys in his room.

I slowly made my way back up. I walked in his room, not knocking again.

He was sitting up in his bed on his phone. I was hurt, but I wasn't about to let it show.

I grabbed my keys and gave a small wave. I stopped at his door before leaving.

"You know, you never asked me if I loved you?" I said not facing him.

"Because I do.............."
