Chapter 16

Chanel's POV

Me and Jordan decided to just hang out at my house for the rest of the day. I figured I might as well tell everyone about the show since "They" are back.

"Hey guys, so umm this Saturday Jordan and I are headlining in a fashion show at the mall." I say.

"And she gets fitted for her wings tomorrow" Jordan said happily next to me.

"Oh honey that's great, but Nikki already invited us to a book release party this weekend" mom said unhappily. "And it wouldn't be fair since she asked first" she finished.

"Of course! I understand" I say. A look if relief crossed moms face.

" Nikki comes first for now on got it" I say looking straight at mom. "Cha-" mom started.

"No mom it's no problem really" I say with the fakest smile ever. I grab Jordan's hand and head to my room.

"I'm sorry" he said walking in behind me. "No, it's not your fault" I say and climb up to my bed.

I gesture for him to sit in the swing. He looked skeptical then looked at me.

"It's safe I swear haha" I laugh.
He sat down with extreme caution, but eventually smiled up at me.

We spent the night talking about the photo shoot until my aunt walked in.

"Hey guys" she said quietly. I looked at Jordan but he just shrugged. So helpful.

"I know earlier I said some things that might have come off as harsh, but I didn't mean it, and I'm sorry." She said.

I hopped off my bed and hugged her. "Not many people support this, but I'm glad you do" I said, and she smiled.

She went over to Jordan and gave him a hug to. He looked extremely awkward and I giggled. With one last smile she left.

"That was not funny" Jordan laughed. "Yeah it was"

All of a sudden he started tickling me. "Please stop" I managed to say through laughs. We tripped on my rug and he fell on top of me.
We just stared at each other until he leaned in quickly and kissed me.

It wasn't like when we kissed at the photo shoot, this one was well real.
We were full on making out when someone knocked. He pulled away and groaned. "Haha get the door" I laughed and nudged him up.

It was Nikki.
"Umm hey mom just wanted to know if Jordan was staying the night since everyone else is?" She asked eyeing both of us.
He looked back at me. "Yeah sure, I will get more blankets" I said and smiled at Jordan.

Nikki left. I went and sat next to Jordan on the balcony.
"What are we?" I asked staring at him in the moonlight.
"Whatever you want us to be" he said smiling. "Well then, I guess neither one of us is single anymore" I said smiling bigger than I have in awhile.

"Are you hungry?" I asked.
"Yeah, let's go get a pizza" he said grabbing my hand.

We walked in the living room where everyone was. It felt good holding his hand.

"We're going out" I say in the doorway. You could see everyone's eyes move to our hands. It was a little uncomfortable but Jordan gave me a reassuring squeeze.

"Ok honey have fun" my mom finally said. We went to the pizza place on the corner.

We talked about the photo shoot for the most part.

When we got back home everyone was asleep except for my mom, Nikki, my aunt, and of course Matthew.

"There is extra blankets in your room Chanel, but Jordan sleeps on the floor." She said eyeing both of us.
"We will be gone early in the morning so we can start setting up for this show this Saturday, and my wing fitting." I said knowing they weren't coming anyway.

She gave me a small smile. I grabbed Jordan's hand and we went to my room.
