GSA: Grand Sword Adventure

I kept my face down looking at the sidewalk as the rain fell heavily onto me but I didn't care as my body had already gone numb. I slowly raise my right hand to check the time on my wristwatch to see that the time is nine forty so I took in a shuddering breath, sigh and turns around to make my way towards my house. When I reach my house, I silently open the front door before slowly making my way towards my room on the second floor. When I reach my room and was about to close my front door, there is a loud crash from my parent's room so I quickly close my door.
​​As I stood in front of my door, I heard my parent's yells and I let out another sigh. Using my left hand, I lock my door before taking off my wet clothes and putting on a fresh pair of boxer and a short. I then made my way towards my bed where I reach under it to take out a headgear. I plug the usb cord into my computer where it is on standby before I place the headgear onto my head. I went to lie down on my bed with my eyes open to see the clock on display and when the timer change to ten; I close my eyes saying softly, "Connect."
​I open my eyes to find myself staring up into a brown ceiling before I smile and raise a hand up to my face. Instead of seeing my bare hands, I saw a black leather fingerless glove so I made a fist and stood up. I made my way down the brown staircase towards the busy inn.
​"I'm home." I said softly as I open the front door of the inn to step into the busy street of the town.
​​"Hey, look isn't that Kira." I heard someone whisper this before another person said, "I heard that he took the seventy fifth dungeon boss by himself." I turn to face them making them turn their gaze to the ground so I made my way towards them.
​"Is that the rumor about me these days?" I ask them making the two players gulp
​​"Don't worry, I won't do anything, I just want information." I said making the second player open his mouth to say, "Yes, there was an announcement a few days ago about the seventy-fifth dungeon being cleared and also G-Grave was passing out news about who had defeated it. His paper said that a male player by the name of Kira who is always glad in dark clothes with duel wielding took out the boss with a fifty hit combo."
​​"Hmm," I said making the players look at me with anticipation, "Where can I find G-Grave? He is still here isn't he?" The first player who had spoken pointed a finger towards a clock tower before saying, "I saw him selling info by the watchtower."
​​"Thanks." I said making the players nods their heads before I made my way towards the watchtower. Once I reach the watchtower, I saw a blond hair man wearing green clothes with a bronze chest plate and a small dagger in its scabbard sleeping atop of a wooden table. I shook my head before kicking the table tipping it and the man over.
​​"Haven't you heard that disturbing a man will bring you bad luck?" said the man in an annoyed voice as he got up from the ground and fixing his table at the same time.
​​"Is that so Grave?" I ask G-Grave making him open his eyes in shock before he said, "It is so Kira." I sat down on the table with my arms cross making G-Grave look at me with anticipation.
​​"What's this about me clearing the seventy fifth dungeon alone?" I ask making G-Grave took in a big breath as he said, "I was just telling the truth and besides a man's got to make gold somehow."
​"If you wanted gold, why not level up and go on a quest like everyone else?" I said making G-Grave shook a finger at me while sucking his teeth.
​​"Kira, my friend, I'm a reporter and reporters don't get into battles."
​​"Just say it G-Grave. You don't want to get killed."
​​"Of course, even if it's just a game, I don't want to get killed." Said G-Grave stubbornly making me laugh as I said, "How much did you make selling info about me anyways?" G-Grave made a swiping motion with his left hand before moving his fingers around.
​​"Here's your share." Said G-Grave tossing me a brown sack and I took the bag to discover twenty-five hundred gold coins. I open the bag to take out a few gold coins before tossing them to G-Grave saying, "Here's something for you then."
​​"What do you want to know then?" ask G-Grave as he took the coins and I closed my eyes as I said, "Tonight's special event."
​​"I should have expected that especially from the number one player of GSA. The event's boss name is the Midnight Stalker. It drops an S-class item called the Ruby of Revival. The Ruby of Revival will let you revive yourself once in a battle without you having to be revived in the nearest town." Said G-Grave reading from a brochure
​​"I see that will be a handy item to have in a boss fight." I said making G-Grave nods his head.
​​"I guess, I should tell you this also, the location's hidden but rumor has it that the Stalker will appear around the base of Spirit Mountain on level eighty five. I don't have to tell you which town is closest to Spirit Mountain do I?" said G-Grave and I shook my head before saying, "Zeus."
​​"I suggest that you bring lots of potions. I heard that the Stalker's level is as high as a monster on the ninetieth floor." Said G-Grave nodding his head and I raise a hand to my chin saying, "I have thirty hi-potions and with my current level, I'm sure I can take it alone."
​"Good luck then, I'll be waiting to hear the announcement of your victory." Said G-Grave as I put a hand into my coat pocket to take out a blue crystal
​​"I'll see you tomorrow Grave." I said making G-Grave wave a hand.
​​"Teleport: Zeus." I said and the crystal in my hand started glowing bright blue before it engulfs me in the same light. Once the light faded away, I found myself standing in front of a water fountain in the middle of the town call Zeus. As other players were walking around town, I shifted my gaze to look at the towering mountain called Spirit Mountain and smile. I sprinted towards the west exit of Zeus before making a right turn towards the forest near the base of the mountain.
​​When I reach the forest, I slowed down my pace to carefully search for a safe route towards the base of Spirit Mountain. Once I made my way to the base of Spirit Mountain, I took out another crystal, but instead of a blue color, this one was a red color. I held the crystal up in the air saying, "Scan." The red crystal began to glow red as I turn the crystal light's left and right I began walking around the base of the mountain.
​When I was halfway around the mountain, a red glow began to slowly appear from the side of the mountain and I hasten my pace. As I got nearer to the red glow, the crystal in my hand begins to glow brighter and brighter until it shatters when I reach the red glow coming from the mountain.
​​"I guess this portal won't open until midnight." I said loudly to myself as I made a swiping motion to bring up the menu to look at the digital clock.
​​"Thirty more minutes huh." I said before sitting down on the grass with my back leaning on a tree.
​​"Are you guys here for a fight?" I said after a while of silence making a group of players walk out of their hiding place.
​​"Your sensing skills must be very high to be able to notice us." Said the leader as I stood up from the ground while dusting off debris from my coat.
​​"Judging from your armors, you guys must be from the Blue Dragon Guild." I said eyeing the dark blue armor that the players were wearing and the leader smile saying, "We're after the S-class item that the Midnight Stalker is said to drop."
​​"You and me both then." I said making the leader furrow his eyebrows as he said, "If you value your money and items, then I suggest that you get out of here."
​​"I have no intentions of moving from this spot. If you want to get to the Stalker then you will have get through me." I said with a smirk as I cross both of my hands to hold the hilts of my swords making a player said, "Drac, I think that's Kira." Drac, the leader, turns to look at him saying, "What? Are you sure Geo?"
​"Yeah, I'm sure. He fits the descriptions perfectly." Said Geo making a small step back as I pull out my swords with a smirk.
​​"Black clothes, twin swords called the Flametongue and Icebrand use for duel wielding. He's Kira all right, the solo player who cleared Skull Reaper alone." Said Geo making the other members of the guild begin to make small steps back while muttering, "He's the one who clear the seventy fifth dungeon alone." Drac look at his party before yelling, "He's just one man. We're members of the Blue Dragons, the strongest guild in GSA."
​​"Your guild may be the strongest but does that mean you're the strongest?" I said making Drac narrow his eyes at me.
​​"Attack!" Order Drac making his party members run towards me with their lances raise. I made a step forward before pushing off with my toes to dash towards Drac. Drac swallowed hard as his eyes stared into the blood red blade of my Flametongue.
​​"I'm not very fond of pking but if I'm push enough then I will." I said in a deadly voice making Drac jump back a foot away from my blade to say, "We're heading back to HQ." He and his party then took out the same blue crystal that I had earlier raising it into the air saying, "Teleport: Grandia." I smirk at them while twisting both my wrist to make my swords swing in circular motion before I place them back into their scabbards.
​​"Ding. Ding." I heard a bell ringing in the distance and made a smile before I look at the entrance of the event. I made my way there before stepping into the portal where I was immediately transported into the center of the mountain. I scan around the room to look for the Midnight Stalker before I heard a noise from behind me. I turn my body around to watch a black figure walking towards the light. Once the figure had reached the light, my eyes stared into the red eyes of a Minotaur like creature.
​​"I'm guessing you're the Midnight Stalker." I said teasingly before I unsheathe Flametongue and Icebrand and the Midnight Stalker let out a ferocious roar.
​​"Nothing but hot air." I said loudly as I began to dash towards the creature. The Midnight Stalker made a jump over me making me slid to a stop as I said, "He's fast." Midnight Stalker unsheathed a giant broadsword before swinging it towards my left but I dodge it by jumping up into the air. I wasn't prepared for what was about to happened as the Midnight Stalker's tail flew towards my right side sending me crashing into the wall.
​One third of my hp fell as I fell onto the ground coughing. I look up in time to see the blade of the giant broadsword coming down and I was able to parry the blow by raising Icebrand and Flametongue to shift the broadsword's aim to the ground beside me. I stood up as Icebrand and Flametongue begins to glow before I jump towards the Midnight Stalker's abs yelling, "Dance of the Twin Dragons." Using the system's duel wielding command, I felt my body move on its own as I hit the Midnight Stalker's stomach with a twenty-five hit combo making it lose half of its first hp bar.
​​The Midnight Stalker's swung it's sword up but I was able to dodge it by rolling to the left to land some quick strikes to its stomach dropping its hp bar to two bars. The Midnight Stalker let out a roar of anger before jumping back into the darkness not making any sound. I landed on the ground and immediately started scanning the room for the creature. I suck in my teeth in anger just as the giant broadsword flew towards me from the right side of the mountain.
​​"Shit." I said as I made a dodge roll to avoid the blade while it flew into the left side of the mountain. I narrow my eyes suspiciously when I didn't hear any collision from the sword hitting the mountain until I saw the red eyes of the Midnight Stalker in the shadows before it disappears again.
​​"I should have known you have this kind of skill." I said aloud while scanning the room again as the broadsword came flying towards me from the right side.
​​"I'm ready this time." I said as I made a small jump back to see the blade fly towards the left and I pivoted my feet to let me make a dash towards the left. I encountered the Midnight Stalker before I said, "Twilight Slash." My swords glow red and blue once more as my body is taken control by the game system to land the fifty hit combo I use against Skull Reaper. I finish the combo by jumping to the back of the Midnight Stalker to hit him into the light. The creature stumbles into the light as I push off the ground with my toes once more to fly towards the back of the Midnight Stalker.
​​I ran up the spine of the Midnight Stalker to jump into the air before I twisted my body in midair to fall down towards the skull of the Midnight Stalker where I landed both of my swords between its eyes causing the last of its hp bar to drop to zero. I fell onto my knees gasping as the Midnight Stalker digitize into black shards leaving the words "Congratulations." I smile before standing up to see another window in front of me saying, "Ruby of Revival received." I place a hand inside my pocket to get a vial of red liquid out before drinking it to see my hp bar rise from an orange color to a green color.
​​Once I was out of the mountain, I took out a teleport crystal before raising it up into the air saying, "Teleport: Zeus." When I open my eyes, I found myself back in the town of Zeus and I made my way towards an inn. I rented a room for the night and when I reach my room, I went to the bed to lay down before swiping down bringing up the main menu. I tap on the options menu before navigating to the log out bar to press it and immediately, my eyes closes. I open my eyes to find myself staring into the dark visor of the headgear with a digital clock reading "Twelve thirty."
​"I spent thirty minutes killing Midnight Stalker." I said as I took off the headgear and placing it under my bed before I close my eyes to go to sleep.
