"Y/N! Wake up!"
A loud voice pulled you from your dream. Groaning, you turned away, burying your face into the pillow.
"Shut up, Dave. Give me one more hour," you mumbled sleepily, shielding your eyes from the sunlight peeking through the window.
But then something strange caught your attention—a clicking sound. You blinked your eyes open slowly and saw Dave standing over you, holding… a video camera?
“What are you doing, Dave?” you asked, rubbing your eyes as you sat up on the bed.
Dave placed a hand on his chest dramatically, “Isn’t it obvious? I’m vlogging!”
You gave him a look of pure disbelief. “Huh? Vlogging? Are you for real?”
He looked at you like you were the crazy one. “Seriously, Y/N?! I have a hundred thousand subscribers on YouTube!”
“I must still be dreaming,” you muttered, about to flop back onto your bed when he smacked your arm—not too hard, but just enough to jolt you.
“Hey! If you don’t believe me, I’ll show you. Open those sleepy eyes and look at this.”
He shoved his phone into your face, and there it was:

With his face in the profile picture, flashing a peace sign.
Your jaw dropped. “Wait, hold on! Why didn’t you tell me you had your own YouTube channel?!”
Dave grinned mischievously, practically bursting with pride. “Well, girl~ Surpriseeee!” he shouted, making you jolt in surprise again.
He turned the camera to record your shocked expression and started laughing uncontrollably. “This is gold. I’m definitely putting this in the vlog.”
You narrowed your eyes. “Dave, are you seriously using me for your content?”
He raised two fingers like a scout. “Yes—but don’t worry! I’ll cut out all your ugly angles… maybe.”
“Seriously, Dave?!” you yelled, and threw a pillow at him. He dodged it and kept laughing like a little gremlin.
Later, you checked out the latest video he posted:

You looked at him thoughtfully, then grinned. “You know what? I’ll try! It sounds fun.”
“Great! Then let’s plan our next video.”
“What are we doing today?”
He tapped his chin dramatically, “Hmm… how about a mukbang while answering fan questions?”
“Yes! I would love that.”
“Perfect. I’ll post the announcement now.” He grabbed his phone and started typing like lightning. Moments later, his post was up:

After he posted it, you leaned back on your bed, still reeling from everything.
“Do you think… Alex might see this?” you asked quietly.
Dave looked at you with a small smile. “Honestly? With how fast you two are becoming each other's headlines… I wouldn’t be surprised if he did.”
You bit your lip. The thought of Alex seeing you like this—laughing, having fun, just being you—made your heart flutter a little.
“I don’t know if I’m ready for that…” you admitted.
Dave nudged you with his elbow. “You’ll never know unless it happens. And hey, if he does see it… maybe it’ll bring back even more memories.”
You nodded slowly, the idea settling in your chest like a warm secret.
Outside, the sun was rising higher, and inside, your heart felt just a little lighter.
