3 Years Later
"Welcome to our channel’s live broadcast! Ms. Y/N, also known as YNLuxe—how’s your day going?"
Three years. It’s been three whole years since everything changed. I had no idea that something I started for fun would turn into a career, and that I’d be here today—a successful YouTuber, being interviewed in front of thousands of live viewers.
“Everything’s great,” I replied with a soft smile, clasping my hands together. “It’s a pleasure to be here.”
“Thank you for accepting our invitation!”
“Thank you for inviting me, HoriInterview. Hello to all my fans and everyone watching!”
“Hello to all the YNLuxe fans tuning in today! It's a pleasure having you here. Now, before we begin, we let our audience submit questions, and we picked a few to ask Miss Y/N during this live session. Let’s give her a warm round of applause!”
I chuckled as we both clapped.
“Let’s start with the first question: ‘When did everything start—your journey as a vlogger and gamer?’ This one’s from @valerieah.”
I adjusted slightly in my seat and looked at the host. “It all started with my best friend, Davelyn—Dave, as I call him. He was already a content creator and one day, he filmed a video of me just messing around. That video blew up, and people started to like our chemistry. We became known as ‘D/N’—our duo name—and from there, I started my own channel. I never imagined it would turn into something this big.”
The host nodded. “That’s amazing. But here’s a deeper question, from @krian16: ‘Do you ever regret it?’”
“Not at all,” I said, thoughtfully. “But sometimes, I wonder what life would’ve been like if I had stayed anonymous. A simple life, where only acquaintances and close friends knew me. Fame is beautiful and overwhelming, but it’s not always easy.”
“That’s true. We all wonder about the life we didn’t choose sometimes.”
I smiled gently. “Exactly.”
He glanced at the next card. “Now for a fan-favorite question: ‘Is there someone you like or love?’ This one’s from @petergraves.”
I let out a nervous laugh. “No... not right now. But there was someone I loved before. It was beautiful in the beginning, but things became complicated, and we eventually had to let go. It wasn’t because we stopped loving each other... but because life got in the way.”
The host’s expression softened. “That’s sad... but honest. If you don’t mind me asking, do you still have feelings for that person?”
I hesitated, but then nodded. “Yes. I think I always will, in some way. The memories we shared are engraved in my heart. I’ve never experienced anything that deep since. And... sometimes remembering it hurts.”
“Do you regret loving him?” he asked gently.
I shook my head. “Never. He was the greatest person I’ve ever met. We had a real, pure love. No lies, no cheating—just two people who loved each other and got lost in the chaos of life. That kind of love... even if it ends, it stays with you.”
The host smiled warmly. “That’s beautifully said. Now, onto the next question… and this one is... intense.” He cleared his throat. “‘ARE YOU SERIOUSLY THE EX OF THE FAMOUS GAMER QUACKITY?! OHMYGODNESS! WHAT IS THIS?!’ asked by @rickylovmarie.”
The room fell quiet. Hori blinked, his mouth slightly open, and then looked at me.
I felt my heart race. My hands fidgeted in my lap. I didn’t expect that question to come up—not so publicly.
