Cookie Recipes

*Applesauce Spice Cookies

Ingredients

⁃ 1 Cup Sugar

⁃ ½ Cup Shortening

⁃ 1 Egg

⁃ 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

⁃ 1 Cup Unsweetened Applesauce

⁃ ½ Teaspoon Salt

⁃ 2 Cups Flour

⁃ 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon

⁃ ½ Teaspoon Cloves

⁃ ¼ Teaspoon Nutmeg

⁃ 1 Cup Raisins, Chopped

⁃ 1 Cup Nuts

Directions

⁃ Preheat oven to 350

⁃ Cream together sugar, shortening, and egg.

⁃ Mix soda into applesauce and add to creamed mixture

⁃ Combine dry ingredients and mix well

⁃ Blend in raisins and nuts

⁃ Drop onto greased cookie sheet bake for 10-12 minutes
