Ingredients
⁃ ¾ Cup Shortening
⁃ 1 Cup Sugar
⁃ 1 Egg
⁃ 4 Tablespoons Molasses
⁃ 2 Cups Of Flour
⁃ 2 Tablespoons Baking Soda
⁃ 1 Teaspoon Cloves
⁃ 1 Teaspoon Ginger
⁃ 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
⁃ Granulated Sugar (Preferably Colored)
Directions
⁃ Preheat oven to 350
⁃ Mix first nine ingredients well and form into walnut-sized balls.
⁃ Roll in granulated sugar and place on greased cooking sheet. Do not flatten balls
⁃ Bake for 8-10 min
