Dear Diary [A GaLe Story]

Chapter 7: Recovery

Levy burst open Lucy's door. Wendy following behind. Wendy walked in, with that usual look of "what just happened" on her face. But then she saw Lucy. And there was a knot in her stomach.

Levy ran right to her and checked to see if Lucy was still here. "Lucy...? Oh thank God, you're still alive! Wendy! You have to use your Sky Healing magic on her!"

"What!? Even if I did right now Lucy wouldn't just wake up! It'll take a while...!"

"I don't care how long it takes, just stop her suffering!" Wendy glanced at Lucy again. She was tossing and turning in pain, but she wouldn't wake up. She had been inflicted with something very evil. But... Levy didn't know, because every time she tried to remember what happened, her head would ache in unimaginable pain.

Wendy took a deep breath. "Okay. I think I can help. But I can't do much. But she will wake up. Eventually. Now give me a minute..."

Meanwhile, Gajeel had gotten over what happened. He decided to let off steam by taking a walk. He was in an "I hate people" mood. Then again, it seems like he always is, but that really doesn't matter.

He just kept his mind at peace. Walking around and around in the seemingly silent and lifeless forest. Or so he thought.

In the middle of the walk, he found a clearing. He stopped in his tracks right away. He felt like he was being watched. He could smell them, too. And hear them.

He tried to ignore the presence, but it felt as if it was getting closer and closer to him by the second. Gajeel had enough.

"I know you're there. I can sense you. Get out here." He turned around. Out walked a man. Gajeel had never seen him before. He had dark eyes, a slender face, a strange veil, and Yellow hair. Not blonde, not Golden. Yellow. It was unlike anything Gajeel had ever seen.

"Who are you? I can feel the negativity pouring out of you."

The man replied in a serious voice. His way of speaking was very smooth, not a single crack in his tone. "I am... Kagura. Yozora Kagura. And I have... Personal reasons as to why I shall not utter the answer to the inquiry you have embezzled upon me."

Gajeel's head hurt now. "Talk normal, you weirdo." He noticed something shiny on Kagura's waist. Gajeel's eyes widened. "Those...! That's blondie's keys! The ones she uses to call those celestials things."

Yozora smirked in a very evil fashion. "You know her...? I'm assuming not at a very high probability, completely due to your classification as 'Blondie.'"

"Yeah well we all ain't perfect." But there was ONE thing that put Gajeel on edge. A pretty orange headband, the keys hung off of. "That...! That's... Shrimp's... I-I mean, Levy's..."

"Headband? Quite correct."

"Where the hell did you get that...?" Then, at that moment, Gajeel remembered what happened, earlier that day at Fairy Tail. When Levy ran in, she didn't have her headband on!

Kagura was enjoying this. "I have taken them. But reasons as to why? That is for me to know, and information never for you to obtain." Gajeel was very angry at this point. His dark red eyes, now luminous with fury. "Give it back..." Green sparks of power began to fly off of him.

"I cannot. There is a reason as to why-" but Gajeel was already charging at him full speed. Kagura used a vanishing teleportation maneuver, but was too late. He managed to snatch back the headband, and the keys as well.

Gajeel felt drained. He was angry, upset, confused, and tired. He had to know what was going on, and why he had them.

He needed to find Levy.

"There!" Wendy said almost collapsing. "It took me almost an hour, but she should be waking up in almost no time!" Levy was so relieved. "Really!? I'm feel revitalized! Thanks Wendy! You're the best!

"Thanks..." Wendy's eyes were spinning. "I need to sit down now." Levy helped her to Lucy's chair. And almost instantly Wendy fell asleep due to fatigue.

"I hope Carla wont find out that Wendy did that..." Levy said to herself. She looked back at Lucy. Here eyes opened. Levy smiled and couldn't calm down. "Lucy! You're awake!"

"I... What? Oh, yeah, I am. Wh-what happened?"

"Oh! Wendy helped you wake up and heal you!" She poined to Wendy. Sleeping like a rock on the chair.

"Oh, thats nice. M-My head hurts... And my keys..." She began to panick. "MY KEYS!? OH NO WHERE ARE THEY?? MY POOR SPIRITS! DID SOMEONE TAKE THEM?? WHY ARE THEY GONE!? WHY AM I YELLING BLOODY MURDER!? WHY DO I HAVE EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS, LEVY PLEASE HELP ME-"

"L-lucy calm down! I'm sure you'll get them back. There is an explanation for this, there always is. We just have to wait." Levy tried calming her down.

Lucy was the confused one now. "Levy...? Where is your headband?" Levy put her hand on her head, froze, and began to lose it. "Oh no. OH. NO. MY FAVORITE HEADBAND! ITS GONE! OH NO OH NO OH NO OH NO OH NO OH NO! I NEED IT! IT'S ALL I HAVE LEFT OG MY MOM, AND I..." Levy blacked out from shock and collapsed on the floor. Lucy was tearing up. "What's happening...?"

Something was going wrong. They had both lost the items that were most dear to them. Their "prized possessions."

Who stole them and why? Lucy couldn't help but just wonder why. But in her heart she knew that eventually, she will know why.
