The Night Sky

Gajeel woke up before everyone else. He was laying on top of Laxus. Dammit... He thought He's so comfy, I don't wanna get up... He wanted to sleep a little longer, but he was too awake to even try.

He slowly slid off of him, so he wouldn't wake him up. He laid against the wall and thought why is it when he's awake he's such a pushy asshole, but when he's alseep he's just adorable as hell? I like him asleep alot more...

He scanned around the room for Levy and found her asleep on the floor. He grinned. That's what she gets for staying up too late. Heh, maybe I should go stir her up...

He quietly crawled over to her until he loomed over. No, this might scare her...

Gajeel laid down facing her backside instead, and decided to hold her to him.

Not long later, she woke up to his warm touch. She turned herself around and lovingly nuzzled him. "Good morning... Gajeel..."

"Hey, Lev." He kissed her forehead. "Know what time it is?"

She looked over at the window. "Um... Judging from the light rays and the sunlight positionings, I'm going to say it's at least just after noon."

"What...?" He shockingly whispered "noon? And no one else is awake?"

"It seems so..." She looked over at them. "Oh. Looks like Lucy is waking up."

Lucy was rubbing her eyes. "Hey, love birds. What's up?"
She scooted over to them.

"Hey, blondie. Nothin'. Just waiting for them to get up." Gajeel reported.

"Yeah..." Levy started to say "Might be at least an hour." She started too look around again. "Oh, wow! Look at that!" She exclaimed in a whisper.

She pointed over at Natsu and Gray. Natsu clinged onto Gray's side while Gray held onto Natsu with his arm.

"Damn. I can't believe I'm saying shit like this, but that's kinda cute." Gajeel stated in a regrettable tone.

Levy nodded and looked at Lucy. Lucy was staring and her nose was starting to bleed. "Adorable doesn't even begin to describe it..." She started to silently laugh evily.

Gajeel was grinning at the sight. But Levy shot his joy right down. "Gajeel, don't be laughing. I saw you and Laxus last night. You laid on top of him. And he put his hand on your back."

Gajeel jerked his head away. "It ain't like that!" He turned a light shade of pink across his face.

Lucy was the one laughing now. Gajeel growled.

Levy lightly grabbed his arm. "It's okay. No one's saying it is like that. But it is kinda cute."

Gajeel rolled his eyes. "Nothing about me is cute. And..." He pointed at Laxus. "He's kinda cute when he's asleep. But when he's awake... I kinda can't stand him. But, besides Lily, he's still my best bud."

"Aww!" Lucy jolted back from her laughing "yeah! having a best friend is an amazing thing!" She nudged Levy, and Levy nudged Lucy back.

Gajeel nodded. "See. That's all it is. I'm pretty sure those two 'lovebirds' over there are in the same boat. At least I hope..."
