Chapter 4: A Real Shock

Gajeel woke up the next morning with half of himself hanging off of the bed, but he didn't give a shit. "What... Time is it?" He looked at the clock, which he had kicked on the floor the night before. "What...!? Its almost 10!? Shit!" He got up, threw on a random shirt, and bolted out the door.

And then, in literally 5 minutes he was at the Fairy Tail Front Gate, again hyperventilating like he was going to die or something. Tough Life, huh Gajeel? He walked in through the front door. For once, like a civilized person. "Heya."

Mira, as always, welcomed him in. "Back like you promised, Gajeel? Well you came by a little too late, I'm afraid."

Gajeel's mouth dropped wide open. "Are you KIDDDING me!? I missed him!?!?!?" Mira giggled. "No, silly, I was just kidding. He's out in the back of the guild. You can talk to him there." Gajeel sighed with relief. "You scared me for a sec. Then again, you always do, Mira. Anyway, thanks for the help." He walked to the back doors. "No problem, Gajeel!"

Outside, he looked around the trees blowing in the wind. And there he was, a large man with Golden Blonde hair relaxing against a tree. Gajeel Thought he was asleep, but he didn't care. He walked right up to him. He owes me for last time, he thought. So he said "Hey. Laxus. You awake? Get your ass up. I wanna ask ya somethin'."

He didn't move. Gajeel sighed. But then he got an idea. "Oh. I know what to do. But whatever, it's worth the risk." He took a deep breath, and patted Laxus's hair. Instantly he felt a jolt.

"D-Dammit..." He groaned. The man opened his eyes. "You had it coming" He said. "S-screw you, dude" Gajeel shot back. "I had to get you up somehow, Lazy ass..."

"Touchê" Laxus stood up. "Now what the hell do you want?" Gajeel knew full well. "Well. I wanted advice on something."

"Oh, is that it? Then you came to the right guy. Advice on what? Spill."

"On..." Gajeel took a deep breath "Girls."

"Girls!? Oh...." Laxus smirked with the most evil smile. "Bro, you have a crush don't ya? This is big... Real big..."

Gajeel blushed. "E-er... Well, yeah... It is. I never liked a girl this much, or anyone, since, well, ever." He smiled in an embarrassed fasion.

"Unfortunately, I don't got much to say, but, make sure that dhe likes ya back, try to get close as you can to her."

Gajeel nodded. "Is that it? Well then..." Laxus was thinking about something. "Incidentally, who do you like anyway?"

Gajeel blushed more. "N-not telling!" Laxus looked pissed for a second. "Better not be Mira... She's mine. MINE."

"Bro, no! She's too happy go lucky and creepy and evil for me. N-no offense." Laxus sighed. "None taken. The truth hurts. Now, who is it? Don't worry, i ain't that big of an asshole to do that."

Gajeel took a big breath this time. "The girl I like has one of the biggest beauties I've ever seen. Her name is...."
