"Evening, hot chocolate!" Max greeted as she and Christina walked into the dining, watching as Earl lit up at their appearance. He waved his arm around with a grin and the two took that as him greeting them in response.
He watched as something behind them seemed to go on and leaned forward as if he wanted to whisper something. Christina took this as the moment to realize that she even though it had just been a short period of time, she cared about Earl and hoped nothing would happen to him soon.
"Max, we got big trouble from little China." Earl pointed towards Han who sat next to the counter on a bar stool, you could tell how excited he was for something neither of them knew about just yet.
"Hi, Max! Christina!"
The two watched as Han who had just yelled, waved at them with a large grin etching over his features. It made the entire thing more humorous to witness.
Max laughed and turned to Earl pulling Christina out of her thoughts as she retorted, "Big trouble? He looks like I won him in a bear claw machine."
"That'd be hot..." Christina muttered with a smug grin causing Max to nudge her side as she laughed while Earl watched the two with a smile of his own threatening to show.
He shook his head as he waved a paper around and pointed at the two, "What is the worst sentence you ever wanna hear come out of Han's mouth?"
"I got you pregnant?"
"I'm going to reduce the pay?" Christina furrowed her brows at the words that she heard as she and Max spoke at the same time. She understood the reason for that being the worst but in reality, why would Max hear that come out of his mouth.
