A/n: Wally being half Latino and Half American is just a headcannon, him being this is a very popular headcannon among the Welcome Home community. Please do not show any hate as this only used to the make the story interesting and more realistic.

"Wally, you sure she would be okay with this?" Barnaby asked, "Of course, by the way, thanks for the help." Wally thanked him. Y/n lay comfortably in Barnaby's arms while Wally carried her drink and the note he had written for her. "Not a problem, her first day here and she's already comfortable enough to sleep on two of the residents. Do you think she likes it here?" Barnaby questioned, Wally smiled happily. "I'm sure she will," Wally said, him blushing softly.

Barnaby looked away nervously, noticing his weirdness. When they arrived, they unlock the door and Barnaby laid her down on her couch in the living room while Wally placed her desired coffee in the microwave to keep hot. Before they left, Wally cover her up with a nearby blanket and peered over her. "Goodnight neighbor." He whispered. "Alright Wally, let's go." Barnaby said, Wally peered over his shoulder and smiled. Wally walked over by the door and left the written note there with her keys.

"Of course, let us go," Wally said, following out behind Barnaby happily. Looking back at Y/n one last time before leaving with Barnaby.

-----

Y/n woke up, in a bit of a daze and her head pounding with a headache. "Son of a bitch." She cursed a little, she woke up and found herself back at her place with the sun already going down in the distance through her window. She swore she had been back at the cafe earlier with Wally, the memory came flooding back to her and her face lit up bright red. "I really fell asleep on Wally's shoulder." She realized, covering her face with her hands in embarrassment. Now that she knew of what happen, she also guessed the way she laid on Wally's shoulder could've caused the headache.

She looked around and noticed a note by the door and got up, went to the door and grabbed the note, and looked at the note. She opened it and began to read.

Dear Neighbor,

It appeared you were exhausted and never woke up so I got one of my friends to help me get you back here safely before dawn. Your coffee is in the microwave and your keys are by the door alongside this very note. I hope your sleep well and do not stay up late watching my show, which I do highly appreciate by the way. It's flattering but I do care about you getting your well-deserved rest.

-Your Neighbor, Wally Darling

The note made Y/n blush slightly, the time and effort put into such a sweet letter made her happy. Y/n was liking this place already, friendly and trustworthy neighbors were something she never expected before, definitely nothing like back with her parents.

Y/n put the note in a safe location since he was important to her, went into the kitchen, and got her coffee out of the microwave, surprised when it was still hot. Y/n didn't waste her time as she began to sip on her drink, turning on the television to see what was on channels rather than her Roku. She stopped clicking through the channels when she saw some cartoons on, seeing that Disney XD was playing The Owl House.

She sat down and cuddled into her blanket and began to watch the show, however, her mind still pondered about the message with Wally. Ever since she came to the town, Wally was always the one who made her feel welcomed sure, but to the point her senses felt uneasy about him or his intentions. She remembered what her mother told her.

"Just please be careful."

That saying kept coming to her mind, she thought for a second before being logical and turning the channel to the news station to hopfulling find anything link about Lovejoy or Wally.

After several minutes passed, nothing, nothing on the news about anything related to the two. "Well shoot, I was thinking my suspicions was true but maybe it's just my parents getting the best of me now." Y/n mumbled to herself.

Evenually, a interview with Wally popped up on the news, it must've been prerecorded as it appeared to be Wally's time off. The interviewer appeared and greeted him with a handshake, she smiled innocently on screen as the interview began and Wally answered all the questions while bypassing a few.

"So, fans have been wondering, what's your ethnicity?" The interviewer asked him, the questioned got Y/n's attention and now it her fully engaged. "Half Latino and half American." He replied, looking down in half embarrassment and the other in flattery as the crowd cheered. Definitely a parallel to the event's with Oscar Issac when revealed something similar.

The list of questions continue.

"So the show Welcome Home is based on parallel things to your hometown?" She asked, "Yes, with a few slight changes of course to make the show more interesting, such as my house being alive in the show. It's to give a more intriguing feel to the show." Wally explained. "This show is to tell a story of my hometown and show that it's very nice, not violent, no crime, and welcoming. Essentially what I want every town to be, it's to spread awareness and help our society improve for the better for everyone."

The interviewer was speechless, even the crowd. It's like his words moved people, wanting them to see his perspective of things. Y/n smiled softly, understanding his intent. The crowd behind the camera eveually started talking among themselves and agreed with his statement. The interviewer moved on the next question which made Y/n slightly annoyed, but she also understood why, she was only doing her job.

After a few minutes, the interview ended and Y/n turned off the television and went into the kitchen, throwing away her plastic cup into the recycling bin in she had. She stared outside as the sun had disappeared in the distance

Meanwhile, Wally was back at home with company.

"She's interesting is all I'm saying Home." Wally said, "Your becoming obsessed if anything, and she's only been here a day." Home replied. Wally laughed a little, "So if I am, as long as do my job, you can't do anything to stop me of doing what I like." Wally replied, obviously making Home pissed off.

"Don't you dare." Home warned as Wally pulled out a match and lit it. "Chill out, I'm just going to light a scented candle," Wally said as he did what he said he would do. "You give me anxiety sometimes I swear."

"That's the point, I'm in control here, try anything and I'll make the place burn." Wally's smile faded into a serious glare as he spoke, Home stayed quiet, his words stinging like a bee.

"That's just cruel." Home mumbled, Wally looked around. "Just be happy I saved you when I was younger, I could've let you burn alongside Father," Wally stated. "That was three years ago," Wally revealed. "I know." Wally looked down at his hand as it had some blisters from holding Y/n's cup. Putting his hands under the water which immediately healed due to Home's magic.
