Wally sat in the chair in a daze, not taking his mind off Y/n. The makeup crew noticed his change of behavior as he wasn't as talkative as usual. "Someone's quiet." A member named Lacy said, Wally smiled. "Sorry about that Lacy, I have my mind on someone as of right now," Wally admitted, and Lacy smiled. She continued to mess with his hair til it was perfect then sprayed it down to keep it in tack.
"Sounds like someone is in love!~" Lacy teased, "Maybe, can't be for sure yet now can we Lacy?" Wally replied, Lacy nodded. "At least you aren't denying it, so tell me about her," Lacy said, trying to strike up a conversation.
"Well, now she's serious since she's my assistant, definitely gets down to business. I hate to admit but I like seeing both sides of her." Wally explained, "She just moved into our neighborhood recently and I already like her, I dunno what to do." Wally continued.
"There's nothing wrong with that, love is love, as long as it doesn't lead to murder then it's fine to fall in love in a short period. But I would wait to get to know her a little more first before you ask her out." Lacy explained. "How would you know about love?" Wally asked, "I do, she is such a sweetheart, couldn't ask for anything better. I decided to wait to see if she was the real thing and she was. Several months after we dated, we married."
Wally knew Lacy was right, he appreciated her and he loved hearing advice from her. "You're right, I shouldn't jump the gun yet. Thank you, Lacy." "You are very welcome, Wally."

Wally exited the room and saw Y/n standing waiting for him, "Ready for set Mr. Darling?" She addressed him, making him blush. "Please, you're allowed to call me just Wally Y/n." He said, looking away bashfully. "No, everyone here addresses you by Mr. Darling, even the paper with your schedule, so I will do the same, it's only out of the building that I will address you differently," Y/n stated stubbornly, making Wally blush deeply and cover his face.
"You okay?" Y/n asked, "Yeah! Sorry for worrying you." Wally replied. "Good because you're about to be on set, you ready?" She asked again, "Yeah." Wally replied.
When they entered the set area, she smiled up at him, making him blush slightly again. "Go for it Wally, do your best!" Y/n said, giving him more courage and also making him blush immensely at her enthusiasm. "I will, thank you," Wally said, quickly giving her a kiss on the forehead and running off to his set.
Y/n stood there frozen before her face just became completely red. It left her speechless, she quickly ran to the bathroom and covered her face with her hands. "Damn it." She muttered, "Come on, get it together!" She said to herself, splashing her face with water and then looking at herself in the mirror. "You got yourself this job, don't get distracted from the main point of the job." She said to herself.
Exiting the bathroom and heading to her break happily. Entering the break room and grabbing her stuff from the fridge.
"You must be Wally's assistant?" A female asked her, Y/n looked up and saw a young lady with black hair with silver highlights sitting at the table eating her a snack. Her chest pin read her name, 'Lacy' it said. "Yes, Y/n, pleasure meeting you Lacy," Y/n said, extending her hand to shake Lacy's. Lacy happily shook it and smiled. "Very observant too."
"Yes, what's your job?" Y/n asked, taking a seat across from her and getting her food out of the bag to eat. "I'm Wally's hairstylist. It's hard to do sometimes because he tends to want to do it on his own before he arrives, but he doesn't realize it gets easily messed up before he even arrives because likes to drive like a damn maniac." Lacy laughed, "He needs to learn how to hold back a little, sometimes he's a little too carefree to the point it's concerning."
"Really? I didn't know that." Y/n said, Lacy nodded. "Well, you learn new things every day, don't we?" Lacy questioned, "Yeah, we do." She smiled.
"So I heard from Wally that you just moved into his neighborhood, is it really pretty and nice as they say?" Lacy asked, Y/n looked at her in surprise. "Yeah, it's so safe that I trusted Wally enough to get me back home when I fell asleep on his shoulder Saturday." Y/n replied honestly. "Ohh!~" Lacy smiled, Y/n face lit up as soon as she realized what she said. "That's so adorable, I bet he left you there for a while before deciding what to do." Lacy teased, making Y/n cover her face in embarrassment.
"Oh goodness," Y/n mumbled, not able to hide her face successfully. "Don't worry, your secret is safe with me," Lacy said, giving her a thumbs up. Making Y/n sigh in relief. "Thank you." "Not a problem dear."
-----
After the day ended, Y/n walked outside with Wally and smiled.
"I'll say that today was interesting, I would've never guessed I would've been working for you," Y/n said happily. Wally smiled, "Yeah me neither, of course, the company can be like that. I guess that's what is so cool about it here. Everything can be a mystery." Wally laughed.
"What's the fun without a little mystery?" Y/n asked, "None."
"So hey, I was wondering if you wanted to go grab something nearby before we head home, on the house." Wally smiled, offering. "Sure, I don't see anything wrong with that." Y/n replied, "Okay, what are you craving?" Wally asked as they walked down the walkway toward the city. "Mmm...I'm craving some steaks." Y/n said.
"Are you doing that out of spite because you know I have money?" Wally asked, laughing slightly. "Hey, you said on the house. No, but seriously, I'm in the mood for some burgers." Y/n stated. "Then I know just the place." Wally smiled.
