The phone rang and Wally gently lifted Y/n out of his arms, placing her back on the couch where she could lay comfortably. The phone continued to ring and Wally decided to pick it.

"Hello?" Someone asked on the other line, "Hi, you're calling Y/n?" Wally asked, the person on the end of the line gave a 'mhm' in response. "This is her mother, just calling to check and see how she is."

"Oooh..." Wally replied, not liking where the conversation was heading.

"Y/n told me you and she weren't on speaking terms, why call suddenly?" Wally questioned sternly, the question sounded a little scary to her mother. "I know she still wants to disassociate from me but I just want to call her on her first few weeks to see how life is for her before I stop with the calling. To see if she is safe." Her mother explained herself. "May I ask who I am speaking with?" She questioned.

"I am Wally Darling, a close neighbor of Y/n's," Wally stated, "Oh? What is she doing right now?"

"She's sleeping on the couch so soundlessly," Wally stated, somewhat dazed by her beauty as she slept. "Goodness, um...is she okay?" "Do not worry, she's in safe hands, no harm will come near to her," Wally replied.

Y/n started to wake up, seeing him on her phone. "Oh, Y/n, you mother on the phone, want to talk to her?" Wally asked as Y/n rubbed her eyes.

"Sure." She replied, her hand outstretched for her phone. Wally gave it her willingly before exiting the room, grabbing his stuff from the fridge, and preparing to leave. "Hun, who was that on the phone a moment ago?" Her mother questioned.

"Wally, he's a close neighbor, oh! Bye Wally," Y/n replied, also waving Wally goodbye as he left. "Oh, do you like him?"

"I do." She said, her mother seemed to be a bit weirded out by him so she wanted to ask all the questions she could. "Is he nice?" "Of course, a bit different but sweet," Y/n stated, referring to him being a murderer. "Oh, well that's interesting at least, may I ask why were you asleep earlier?"

"Oh...you sure you wanna know?" Y/n questioned her mother, "Yes, yes I do." She replied. "We were sleeping." Y/n replied, "We?"

"We were sleeping together."Y/n replied, her face flushed in embarrassment, "Oooh! Wait, you two slept with each other?" Her mother questioned, "Yes ma'am." "That's cute."

"So what job do you have? Is it cool?" Her mother asked her, curious and trying to have a small conversation. "Well, I'm actually Wally's assistant, when I'm at my job, I read his schedule for that morning until the afternoon, escorting him as well to the locations he is needed to be. The fun thing is, the company is only open for three days a week, I had a day off today but tomorrow, both of us have to return back to work."

"Oh, that's neat, you get to know him both at work and outside of work." Her mother replied.

---

After Y/n's mother got off the phone with her, she got on her laptop and started doing some research on Wally Darling, actually suspicious of him. Being an overprotective mother as always.

She searched for his name and found his name on Google.

His description read:
Age: 20
Spouse: None
Parents:
Father: deceased Current Care-Taker: Ronald Doreliane (The Playfellow Workshop)
Mother: Ms. Darling (There is no other information)

Wally Más querido Darling is an American Actor for his most well-known role as himself in the series Welcome Home, an all-audience show evolving a few puppets and other enduring elements such as mixing Mister Rogers and the Muppets together to make another unique show for all ages. He is mostly known for his colorful attire, charisma, and charm, as well as for breaking another wall in stereotypes with Latinos in media similar to Oscar Issac.

Y/n's mother was a bit surprised by his description, suspecting him to be a bit different, not an actor. However, she quickly searches up Ronald Doreliane in suspension as well. Quickly finding out what others saw him as.

Others called him a tyrant, or quick-witted, even as direct and upfront with responses. A lot of mixed opinions about him came from everywhere, Facebook even had rumors he covered up a lot of murders or at least helped in them. Several disappearances near its locations made the suspension bigger.

"Hun, what are you doing?" Y/n's father asked, "Oh, I called to check on Y/n to see how she was. Turns out she slept with a neighbor named 'Wally Darling'." Her mother explained, doing air quotes toward the end of her sentence. "Turns out, Wally's father is deceased, and his caretaker could possibly be a murderer." She explained to him, "Bobby, for the last time, stop getting our daughter's personal life. She said she didn't want us in it anymore." The father whined.

"I know, I know. But I'm just trying to make sure she's okay, I don't want her getting hurt." She replied, "I understand that but trust me when I say this, the girl knows how to defend herself. She turned a balloon into a bomb as a kid, that's saying something."

"Robert, a woman can turn anything into a weapon, but Y/n. I'm not sure."

"She is no saint Bobby, just leave her alone."

"I will not, not til I know for sure she is safe," Bobby replied, Robert sighed, "Fine, I'll help, but after this, no more getting into her personal life, understood?" Robert bargained, "Ugh, fine." Bobby agreed.

"Now, tell me all the info you've gathered so far," Robert stated, sitting beside his wife and agreeing to help her. "I've got nothing on Wally, Y/n's neighbor who makes my stomach turn, but Wally's current caretaker, Ronald, the media, and his company have a lot of mixed messages about the guy." She explained.

"Mix messages?" Robert asked in confusion, "Yes, even rumors about him possibly covering up murder and disappearance." She explained, "The most concerning thing is that she works for him."

"Wait, you're serious?" Robert asked in surprise, "I know I can't jump the gun but it's suspicious." Bobby added, Robert, agreeing. "It is now that I think about it, why would others say something like that about him unless it's actually true," Robert thought out loud, "That's what I'm thinking. I don't want our daughter to be dangers way, but I also don't want her to know we're investigating this. I do still want to give her space, not invade it," Bobby explained.

"Now I get it." Robert said, "Pack our stuff, we're going to go. Thankfully, I'm off tomorrow so we have the whole weekend to investigate."
