The sun rose once more for another work week, Wally's eyes slowly opened and rosed from his bed, Home forming a yawn that made the floorboards creek when they were in perfect condition. He looked at his photo of his family, his mother, father with him and his siblings when they were youngsters. Not seeing them in a long time made him feel solemn deep down. "I really need to visit them eventually," He muttered, sighing and entering the bathroom to get ready for work.

"Why don't you then?" Home questioned, Wally began to brush his teeth. "I don't want to leave Y/n or you here alone for that matter," He replied after he removed the toothbrush from his mouth. "I can easily take care of myself thank you very much," Home whined, "No you can't, I have to keep you clean and by the time I got back, you would've eaten all the food I brought," Wally stated, making Home groan sadly.

"Why won't you take Y/n with you and leave Sally to take care of me since she knows the secret?" Home said, trying to convince Wally. Wally thought about it, it wasn't entirely a bad idea. "I'll see about it next week," Wally said, making Home happy internally. "Don't be so giddy about it, we can't be promised anything," Wally said, making Home's emotion change very quickly.

"Still something to be happy about," Home replied, "Are you happy to get a break from me or something?" Wally questioned, Home laughed, making the cabinets clank as he did so. "Maybe."

Wally rolled his eyes playfully, knowing Home was playing along with his bantering. "So, anything new this week for work?" Home questioned, getting into his business per usual. "Not exactly except a business meeting this Wednesday," Wally replied as he fixed his blue tie and put his little pet onto it which oddly resembled a phantom from animal jams. "Business meeting? Aren't those rare?" Home questioned in suspicion. Wally nodded. "It is weird but you know how Mr. Doreliane can be, always weird and suspicious," Wally giggled.

"Fair point," Home sighed, "I'm going to head out now."

"Woah woah woah, no breakfast?" Home questioned him as he grabbed his belongings to leave. Wally shrugged his shoulder, "Not exactly in the mood to eat," Wally said. "At least get some water," Home said, forcing the fridge door open, trying to gesture him to grab at-least one thing. "And no apple, I already know you won't eat it," Home pressed.

Wally grabbed a bottle of water, shutting the fridge door soon after. "Thanks."

"Don't mention it, now go, don't want to miss your chance to see your little lady," Home said, referring to Y/n. Wally smiled, exiting the door and going to the garage and unlocking his car and getting in. He sighed and leaned his head on the stiringwheel, having a bit of anxiety about everything. "Come on Wally, as Father told you once, don't let some thoughts restrict you from everything," Wally mumbled to himself. A knock on the passenger window pulled him from his thoughts, he looked beside him and saw Y/n peering through the window. "Hey!" She said.

He looked at her in surprise, Y/n got in beside him and smiled. "I had a small thought before I was about to head out, since my car doesn't have a lot of gas and I don't have enough time to fill it up, I thought I should ride with you since we're going to the same place," Y/n stated as she buckled up and looked at him happily.

Wally stared for a second, still surprised. He eventually snapped out of his glare and smiled, "Well, what do you say?" She questioned him, "Sure, I guess a small bit of change can't hurt," Wally replied happily. "Good." Wally turned on the car and drove out of the driveway and hitting the road.

Y/n rolled the window down halfway to enjoy the breeze as he drove and he couldn't help but glare for a small second at how happy and pretty she looked, he blushed and turned back to his eyes on the road, not wanting to crash and ruin everything he had. He turned on the radio and heard a new tune which made him feel happy, oldy vibes washed over him as he heard a new song called "Sunset Rose Cocktail" played through his speakers. The song caught the attention of Y/n who was head bobbing to the tune.

"You know this music?" He questioned her, and she nodded, "Yep, it's from Lackadaisy, it's an animated series I watch on youtube," she replied, rolling the window up and keeping her head bobbing to the tune. The tune eventually stopped as if the audio was short, "Yeah, it's a bit short, but it's a good tune," She smiled as it went off.

Wally continued to blush consistently, loving how adorable and excited she looked. He wanted to kiss her so badly but he resisted that urge. 'Damnit Wally, get yourself together!'

"Hey, so, I have a question," Wally began, Y/n looked at him. "Yes?"

"So, I was thinking about visiting my mom and I don't want to go alone, I was thinking you could...go with me," Wally said, Y/n looked at him in surprise, meeting his mom would've been an honor to her. "Of course! I wonder what she looks like?" She said to herself. Wally smiled as they began to pull into the parking lot. Parking and then giving her a quick hug.

"Thank you," He said, Y/n blushed lightly, not expecting it. "You're welcome," She replied.

The newspaper printed the latest story, and everyone talked among themselves excitedly, giggling at the photos which were perfectly printed on the page of the star Wally Darling. "Don't get me wrong, they're cute together, but isn't she like...his assistant?" One lady talked to another, gossiping about the latest story that the company had produced.

"I heard rumors they met before she even got the position so she's technically not an assistant of his," One lady defended as she sipped from her coffee mug. "Oh come on Sherry, when are you going to stop defending these people,"

"And when are you gonna stop making assumptions Alice?" Sherry challenged, Alice's friend laughed a little, making Alice give her a glare. "Oh come on, she has a point this time," Her friend said, turning back into her booth area to continue working. "Wow, just leave me here like a cat to a bunch of rabid dogs," Alice huffed at her friend. Sherry continued her work, beginning to start typing up a story of her own to see if her manager approved.

After a few hours, she went to her manager and smiled happily.

"Yes, Sherry? It better be good." He said, "I promise you it would be interesting, I just need to set up an interview with her," Sherry explained, her manager cocked an eyebrow of interest. "Go on," He stated, intrigued. "The story with Wally Darling and his possible mistress doesn't exactly have proof they're together, I want to speak to either Wally or Y/n L/n myself to see what is versus what isn't true sir," Sherry explained, fiddling with her brown and soft pinkish hair.

The manager perked up at the news, "Goodness, that sounds amazing Sherry, I'll see what I can do. I'll try and contact the company to set that interview for you but for now, stay quiet about this from others, I don't want others to steal your idea." He stated, Sherry looked at him happily, "Of course sir!"
