Phoenix's Surprise

A few months passed by since I went to see the New Kids and I'm still feeling happy. Phoenix has stayed over last night and he's woken us up early. I'm not sure why as we both love having late lie-ins. Despite feeling happy, I have been a little sad as the New Kids were doing an event that was more local than they were when they were on tour and I wasn't able to get tickets for it. At least I've had the odd message exchange with Jon and he's always been so lovely and chatty. I never dared ask him about how to get tickets as I don't want him to think that's all I'm after by talking to him for.
"Are you going to get ready, missy?" Phee asks me with his hand on his hip, looking down at me as I'm still laid on my bed. Yes, he woke me up about half an hour ago yet I'm still not gotten up. "What's the hurry?" I question him. "I'm taking you out. Pick something cute to wear!" He instructs. Deciding to play along, "oh aye, you taking me on a date eh?!?" As I raise my brow at him. He rolls his eyes at me whilst wearing a smirk on his face. "Just get a move on hun. Shout me when you need a hand. I'll get stuff ready." I mock salute, "yes, sir. Hahaha!" I sit up. I shuffle over to end of my bed to browse my wardrobe for an outfit. Something cute? Hmm.

Instead of the denim shorts, I wear a black knee length faux leather skirt

Forty-five minutes later and I'm ready in the living room, eating some toast and enjoying some fresh orange juice. "Where we going or doing?" I ask him. So far I haven't got anything out of him about the plan. He's busy on his phone, ignoring my questions. As I'm looking closely at him, he has a smug looking smile so I know he's hearing me. "Do I look okay at least?" That gets his attitude causing me to smirk back at him. He glances at me, "You look good honey! Perfect for what we're doing. I'm not telling you any more as it's a surprise. Just relax, okay?" I nod.
We're in the taxi driving through town and my mind is in overdrive, trying to figure out where we're going. Twenty-five minutes later, we're pulling up outside a small theatre. I try to see the name of the theatre but I can't see the sign anywhere. In fact, we're at the side of the building instead of the main entrance. Strange. Phoenix is chuckling to himself, pleased at my curiosity. He thanks the taxi driver after paying for the fare and asks me if I'm ready. Ready for what? "You'll find out in a few minutes Nina." Oops I guess I spoke my thoughts out loud. I'm confused as he knocks at the side door.
