Jordan drive himself, me and Bea back to my place. Phoenix and Jon make their way back to Phee's apartment. Bea is going to help me change into proper clothing as Jordan is taking me out for a romantic dinner date. To say I'm excited is an understatement and I try my hardest to keep control of my excitement and anxiety. It's been a long time since I've been out on a date. I just hope it goes well.
"Let's see what we have here for you to wear, Nina. Has he said where he's taking you?" Bea asks while she's searching through my wardrobe. "I don't know, he hadn't said." She excused herself for a moment and disappeared into the living room to talk to Jordan. I refrain from ear-wigging as I want it to be a surprise. The next thing I hear is the kettle boiling so one of them must be making drinks. Bea waltz back in to my room, she goes through the clothes and picks out something. "Okay, so what about this one?" I look at the outfit which consists of a Bardot style top and knee length skirt which ties at the waist.

"Is it suitable for wherever Jordan is taking me? I really like it

"Is it suitable for wherever Jordan is taking me? I really like it. Maybe with my faux leather jacket and black shoes that have the maroon detail on them." She put the outfit on the bed, grabs the shoes and reaches for the maroon bag. Quickly I change with the help of Bea and she helps with my hair. We keep it down but add a few loose curls and change my lipstick, making my eyes look more smouldering. I put on my jewellery which compliments my outfit. Looking in the mirror, I smile at what I see. "I hope Jordan likes this outfit. I don't want to show him up, haha!" She rolls her eyes at me, "Nina, you can't show anyone up, at least Jordan. You always look good." I hug her. "Thank you for helping me as always. I'd still be choosing and getting ready if it weren't for you." She assists me into the living room where Jordan is waiting for me. As soon as I see him, I notice he's changed his outfit. He's wearing all dark; making me swoon at just the mere sight of him. "You look stunning, Nina." He tells me as he takes my hand. I move into his embrace. "You look handsome, Jordan."

As we had left my wheelchair in Jordan's car, Jordan helped me to the car while Bea locked up my apartment for me

As we had left my wheelchair in Jordan's car, Jordan helped me to the car while Bea locked up my apartment for me. She passed me my door keys and tells us how she hopes we enjoy our date. We thank her and watch her walk away. Jordan takes hold of my hand and kisses the back of it whilst maintaining eye contact with me. I have butterflies in my stomach. "If you're ready, sweetheart; let's get going, shall we?" Jordan starts the engine up and effortlessly moves the car.

He pulls up outside the restaurant that he's booked for us. It's somewhere I have never been before and always wanted to go to so I suddenly feel even more excited. "I hope you like it here, baby?" I beam at him with the biggest smile on my face! "I can't wait to see what it's like. I love Chinese food!" His smile widens as he's looking relieved that I'm happy with his choice of restaurant.

I stay sitting as he puts my wheelchair out ready for me. "Here we go, your carriage awaits ma'am." As soon as we are escorted into the restaurant and being led to our table, I'm in awe at the place. It's fancier than I thought it'd be. "This place is incredible, Jordan. How did you manage to get a booking here, whenever we've tried we had no such luck?!" He chuckles. "I guess I just used the line of 'hey, this is Jordan Knight from The New Kids On The Block, please can I reserve a table for two? I can leave a very favourable tip.' I don't usually like to do it but when I heard you've always wanted to come here, I knew using my 'status' to get in." Aww, bless him. "Well, thank you. I guess it does have its perks being you then." - "sometimes. I can't grumble as it's given me a life I could only ever dream of but it can be pretty crappy at times. Everyone wanting a piece of you or thinking they own you. Like the papz, the way they can hound you. Sorry, I don't mean to break the spell, babe. I'm just saying it as it is." I hold his hand across the table; stroking the knuckles on it.

"I understand

"I understand. You're entitled to have a life of your own without being treated like an object. Whenever there's something amazing, there's always the downsides. I guess it's how you deal with it that's important." He nods in agreement. We've ordered a selection of starters and mains to share. When it comes, it all makes my mouth water at how delicious it all looks and tastes. "It's adorable seeing how much you're enjoying the food, Nina. This is a really lovely date so far, I hope you're enjoying the evening with me as much as I am with you." Jordan tells me, sincerely. "It's been wonderful so far. Totally didn't expect it, like I wasn't expecting to see you at the beach today and then tonight but it's all been incredible. I love being with you, J." He leans across the table to kiss me on the cheek. Once we finish eating, we vacate the table and go to sit in the little bar area for a drink before we leave. Jordan helps me to the seat so that I'm sitting next to him and he places his arm around my waist.
He asks about the nature of my disability and we chat about it. I think he understands how it's not always easy for me but that I try my best to focus on the positives; making sure I rest as much as I can in between. We chat about his anxiety issues and how they affect him nowadays. It's been a good date and I definitely don't want the night to end but tiredness and pain starts to kick in so Jordan understandably offers to take me home. I invite him for a drink before he goes home. We spend a little time making out and talking; getting to know each other.
