LXXV. That was weird

it's finally day 1 of the School Festivals, after the opening everyone is called for their own Sports activity, Ryoma and Yuki have signed up for basketball for each gender since joining the sports club one is in has been forbidden.

Yuki had remained joined hips with Ryoma as per their usual but some had seen something different between the 2, but nobody seemed to have grasped what it was yet... well except for-

"He's been paying more attention to you than the game Hanazakari-san, you might want to give him your attention before he gets it from you on his own." she jumped and looked to the one who spoke only to see an eye-smiling Tensai, she scoffed playfully before looking for Ryoma, who she had caught looking at her as he caught the ball and passed it away.

"Aren't you supposed to be with your Class Fuji-Senpai?" she asked, eyes still on the game, she heard the older male chuckle.

"It's more interesting here," he mentioned, both are watching as Ryoma throws a shot and earned a well-played 3-point shot.

"Seriously?" she asked looking up, the Tensai turned to her and smiled with a soft chuckle before nodding, it was then his eyes suddenly widened and pulled her to him, she had heard it before she saw it, the ball, the ball that had flown their way and if the Tensai hadn't pulled her both might have ended up on its way, albeit she can avoid getting hurt she would have still been able to catch the fastball when they looked towards where it came from both had seen a blank-faced Ryoma heading their way, the 2 separated normally as they saw him.

"fufu that was an intense pass, almost hit one of us," Fuji commented with his ever-gentle smile as Ryoma picked the ball up, he turned to face them and glared at the older male.

"Ah, it almost hit you, Sorry," Ryoma said flatly before turning to Yuki who only looked at her in confusion, she knows Ryoma wouldn't make a mistake like that.

"Ah, I should be careful then," Fuji said calling back Ryoma's attention who just nodded and left them to go back to the game.

"That was weird," Yuki jumped in surprised as another person joined them, she frowned, she had been inattentive for a couple of days now, she knows, and it annoys her that she also know the reason why, she sighed.

"I wouldn't say Weird Momo," Fuji said as Momoshiro Joined them with a confused face but after a couple of looking back and forth between Ryoma, Yuki then Fuji he laugh for a bit before shaking his head.

"Oho, I pity Ochibi." that was all he said as they all watched the game.

"Will you be joining us for Lunch?" Fuji asked they waited for Ryoma who is busy getting his things from the Bench for the players.

"Yeah, the whole team will be there!" Momo excitedly said, with a mischievous glint in his eyes that was caught by both the Tensai and the female, though the female doesn't have any idea what it was for, she shrugged and nodded.

"Yeah, Sure-"

"Did you just agree without asking me?" they all turned towards Ryoma, who is now standing just beside her, she frowned.

"Well, I can join them by myself if you don't want to, someone's been itching- I mean been wanting to talk to you," she said as she nodded towards Osakada who is aggressively waving on the other side of the court, beside her stands Ryuzaki with a hopeful look in her eyes, he turned to look at her with a blank face.

"You want me to join them?" he asked, she tilted her head a bit in confusion.

"Why are you asking me? It's up to you who you wanted to have lunch with, not me y'know," she said, they both heard muffled chuckles from both their Senpais, to which Ryoma glared.

"If I join them, you'll be joining the senpais?" he asked again, to this, she stood straight and stared for a couple of moments.

"If you wanted to be with them do so-"

"You didn't answer my question," he said cutting her off, she looked at him in more confusion.

"Okay, Okay, why so standoffish? I'll join them since I already agreed, and I'd rather not be alone while you take your time with your... friends," she said with a shrug, playing her feelings off.

"you're the one who's pushing me to join them, Yuki," he commented.

"I wasn't pushing you, I was just saying that if you don't want to join us, and by us I am pertaining the senpais and I, for lunch, you can join whoever you want, I just saw them calling your attention and so I pointed them out," she said calmly, she knows what may happen if she joins in with his standoffish attitude, she doesn't even have the slightest of an idea why he had suddenly been in the mood when the 2 of them were just joking around before his game.

Ryoma coldly stared at her, making her uneasy and it was all thanks to the 2 Senpais that the atmosphere had been dismissed... for now.

"Ara, That's enough Lover's spat you 2, Ryoma join us, come on," Momo said as he put his arm around the younger male's shoulder with a smile.

"Unless of course, you'd rather leave Hanazakari-san to us while you go off with Ryuzaki-san, don't worry though, I can keep her company with the team," Fuji said with his eye smile, earning a glare from the younger male and a confused look from the young female.

"I'll join," Ryoma said as he walked ahead of them, bringing her with him in the process as he pulled her with him, her asking him what was all that about while he just continued answering in 1 word, making her more confused.

the 2 older males turned to look at the now crestfallen Osakada and Ryuzaki as they watched the other 2 freshmen, both had seen the way the 2 had glared at their dear Manager-chan though before they looked back at the 2 and followed, both talking silently about something they both had seen and observed when it comes to their manager-chan, Ochibi-chan, and the... others.
