Cross Over [ PoT - KnB ]

XLV. 'Warm-Up'

I've just finished the plans for the following day and was already about to submit it when I remembered someone who's peacefully napping on my bed as if he owns the room, I stood up and approached with the intention to wake him up, only to stop upon seeing his peaceful and relaxed state.

and now I'm feeling envious at how freely he's sleeping, while I'm caught up with the team's upcoming activities.

Tsk, the nerve to nap in my room while I can't even get my share.

I left him there, leaving a note since I'm planning on checking up on other things once I'm done finalizing with the Coach and the captain, Other things namely a certain team who's also in the same beach where we are at.

I sighed as I make my way to them only to bump into someone.

"You don't look good, Manager-chan?" I turned to look up at the owner of the Sly-slash-flirty way of talking.

"As if you do." I snapped back before walking around him, I heard him scoffed as I walk past him.

"I didn't mean it that way, I just mean that you look like you need to relax." He said as he follow me, I don't know why though, I just end up not minding him as he try to start a conversation.

"Zaizen? what are you doing with Seigaku's Manager?" I sighed in relief upon seeing his team's Captain who's sitting down and talking with Tezuka-nii and Fuji-senpai and with them is the 2-toned hair guy; Who I learnt to be the genius's Childhood friend.

No wonder, both of them are wolves in sheep's clothing.

I looked towards the other team's Captain after greeting them.

"Bugging me, think you can lend a hand Captain?" I asked, thumbs pointing towards Zaizen.

"I'm not! I'm just trying to start a conversation-"

"In which you're obviously failing." I said, He stared at me in shock.

"Are you sure you're a girl? No girl will let someone as handsome as me, Fail in starting a conversation!" He said, making my eyes narrow.

"uh-oh." I heard Fuji Senpai's reaction to the question, while Tezuka-nii sighed.

"Last time I checked I am, I just happen to be a girl, who doesn't want to be in contact with you, Thank you very much." I answered before turning towards Shitenhouji's Captain who's watching us intently.

"Captain, Heard your schedule for tomorrow isn't complete yet? Want to join us for the Morning Schedule?" I asked with a sweet smile the 2 from Seigaku both looked at each other before shaking their heads at my Indirect Rebuttal toward Zaizen's question.

"Tomorrow Morning? What will it be?" The Captain asked, curious about the Proposal, making me grin, If Ryoma's here he would know what entail that grin... Oh! the 2 Senpai's from my team seemed to get it too.

"Just light Warm-Up." I said, Grin still Intact.

"Sounds Interesting." the 2 toned hair muttered, which earned a look from my tensai Senpai and a shake of his head.

It all ended up with the Captain going to their Coach to inform him of the Invitation, dragging Zaizen with him as he left.

"Just light Warm-Up? " The Tensai asked with his eyesmile and tightlipped smile, I shrugged.

"They can blame Zaizen." All I said, then went back to clarifying things with Captain, Said he'll take care of the other things and talk with the Coach himself, so that I'll have time to relax, And of course, I grabbed the Opportunity to tell him I'll just be visiting some friends nearby, he looked surprised at the mention of 'friends nearby' but stayed silent and just reminded me to be careful.

I was taking my time walking when I saw a very out of place thing-- A pair of basketball rings, I'm glad  Riko-nee had come up for this idea, it also gave me one when she asked if it was a good one.

rather than walking closer, I opted to watch from afar, this will be a boost for everyone's basics, I just hope that they'll be more into their roles in the team...

Before I left, I sent a message to Riko-nee saying it was a good job for their 1st day, and told her I've decided not to show myself at the moment , and just continue with her planned regime.

walking back, I saw brooding Ryoma standing in front of the Lodge House we're staying at, So I walked towards him.

"So who amongst the Princes inside kissed the sleeping beauty?" I jeered as I stood beside him, trying to copy his brooding expression.

He stayed silent, which made me turn to him in confusion, usually he'll be barking up as I teased.

"Hey? Ryo? Something wrong?" I asked, he just glanced at me then turn to walk back in.

"what the- Ryoma!" I called as I follow him back in, still not minding me, I frowned and stopped walking , letting him out of my sight.

"Hmp, must be men's monthly period then." I scoffed as I opted to go back to my room, on my way though I met Kikumaru Senpai and Oishi Senpai with Inui Senpai.

"Oh, You're back! The Captains are in a meeting with the Coaches, told us to just tell you if ever you came back during their meeting." Oishi Senpai said.

"Ne, Ne, manager-Chan, did you really invited Shitenhouji for tomorrow's Warm up?" Kikumari Senpai asked.

I nodded.

"Eh? Nani? Wouldn't they have an idea on how our Warm up is?" Kikumaru asked in confusion, making me smile.

"Not really a big deal, I'll be tweaking up some parts, but you Senpai better be prepared for tomorrow, If anything, I'll recommend blaming Zaizen." I said.

"He's also your Senpai, you know." Inui Senpai reminded me, I just shrugged.

"Doesn't act like one, besides he's not here, why bother. Oh, I'll join in the meeting See you around Senpaitachi~" I said before leaving them behind.

The next day, I woke up extra early as I fell asleep just an hour after dinner, was actually planning to have a walk at night or atleast talk to Ryoma and ask if something 's wrong, but... yeah, I fell asleep, and now It's just 4:45 AM and I'm already fully awake.

So I went and check if there is already someone at kitchens for the breakfast... And not surprised that there's no one, which is why I've decided to make a breakfast for myself... and my team, in preparation for their Warm Up, I won't care about the other team's food though.

After having the food done and eating my share, I've decided to change into a much more fitting clothes for an early walk on the beach, better to be prepared with the players later.

Finally!!! after all those months an update!

I'm glad the block has been undone for this update, I'll have you guys know the draft has been hanging a week after I last updated, Sad right?

I just realized just how much longer this will be, since I'm basing this off on KnB's event and making some time for the PoT's character, fudge.
