Wren's POV

It was the day after Brunnett Bitch's strange 'apology', and I was sitting in my History class, bored out of my mind. I had lunch after this, so naturally i was impatient for the lesson to end. Braden and Jay shared this class with me, so at least it wasn't all that bad in that sense. Exept for the fact that they were pretty much all the way across the class.
And with the teacher's completely monotone voice, it was really easy to quickly fall asleep.
It wasn't like the subject was that interesting in my opinion anyways.

I'm not going to use any of this knowledge in the real world when I'm older.

If I make it that long...

I glared at the clock which was mounted on the wall, internally desperately willing for the time to pass quicker. I ran a gloved hand through my blue frosted hair, holding back a low, irritated growl of annoyance.

How much longer was this class going to go on for?

Eternity, probably.

I huffed, tapping the erasser end of my pencil against the cold metal desk. A random prickle of pain spiked through the scars on my wrist, irritating me. I rubbed my arm with my other gloved hand absent-mindedly, deep in thought.

What was Crayne going to do next?

What was his 'plan'?

Did he even have one?

Would he really leave me alone now?

Doubtful.

He was never really one to quit

Would he never give up intil I was in his grasp?

That's a depressing thought

Why does he even want me, anyway?

Why me??

Why would anyone want me?

The sound of a loud bell sounding sliced through my thoughts, jarring me from my silent monologue of brooding. I rose from the desk chair, my eyes sweeping my classmates as they filed out of the quickly emptying room.

A hand landed on my shoulder, startling me. My heart lurchd and I jumped, one of my gloved hands going to my chest. I turned, glaring at Braden, who had a shit-eating grin upon his face.
"Hey jumpy. How you doing?" He asked, his eyes brimming with mocking amusement.
I huffed in response, rolling my eyes.
"Relatively decent, until you showed up." I grumbled, my eyes narrowed with a half-hearted, mocking glare.
Braden scoffed, a placing an offended hand against his chest.
"Ouch!"
My the edges of my lips twisted and pulled into a half-smile. Braden grinned in response as Jay made his way over to us, maneuvering his lithe body between the  desks which sat in rows. He walked up to the two of us, giving me a warm smile that made me die inside ever so slightly. He brushed his sand coloured hair from his golden eyes, humming quietly.
"What are you guys talking about?" He asked, leaning slightly against one of the desks, his hands supporting his weight on either side of his body.
