The Main's Demon

Chapter 7, Flashbacks

(This chapter will explain Zenitsu's backstory, and might be very short too)

As you might know,  Zenitsu was drowning in dept thanks to a girl he was with, giving her almost all of his money and her ending up leaving him for another guy. Gramps (Jigoro) then found Zenitsu and wanted to turn him into a swordsman in exchange for him helping Zenitsu out of his dept.

As Zenitsu desperately tried to run away plenty of times because he found training way too harsh, "gramps" would always pull him back too him. Somehow Zenitsu felt touched by this. Gramps not letting Zenitsu run off really made him think that he cares about him.

Zenitsu then met Kaigaku in a place full of peaches. But kaigaku didn't really like him since he coward all the time, but still tried to be nice too him. So Kaigaku was like the older brother Zenitsu never had. One day, gramps asked Zenitsu to buy some things in the village so Zenitsu gladly accepted it and went too the village. But as he returned, he saw- gramps lying on the floor bleeding out and Kaigaku very exhausted on his knees, holding his katana while covered in a bit of blood. Zenitsu also saw a man standing infront of Kaigaku... The noises he made.... Where one of a demons. Out of fear, Zenitsu wanted to hide in a corner but  also dragged gramps to a corner, hoping he was still alive. But he wasn't.... Zenitsu then began sobbing until the demon went up too him, he ran too Kaigaku but heard that he

wasn't breathing.. The demon was the "demon king" he said. As Zenitsu tried to run away, but muzan grabbed his neck and started choking him but not too hard so he wouldn't die. "... You look pathetic, let me fix that for you." With that said, Muz@n injected some of his blood into Zenitsu leaving him too scream in pain. Muz@n finally let go of Zenitsu's neck, making Zenitsu collapse on the floor. "Now that I've turned you... You mustn't let anyone know who i am." As Zenitsu was still on the floor in pain, Muzan was looking at him a bit surprised. "Cmon! What are you waiting for!? Just eat them already. Aren't you hungry?"

Zenitsu looked at him shocked.. Did he say?... Eat them?- He then looked at Muzan and ofcourse refused too eat them. He wasn't feeling hungry ofcourse! But Muzan found that very strange... A demon would eat anyone! Even they're own friends or family.. "You leave me no choice.." Muzan then began kicking repeatedly until Zenitsu finally decided too eat them. Zenitsu began begging him too stop, but Muzan told him he would if only he would eat Kaigaku and Jigoro. So.. Muzan stopped kicking him when Zenitsu said he would eat them. He slowly approached Kaigaku and began chewing on his arm, and began eating his corpse while Muz@n just stared at him eating. With tears running all over his face- he had to keep eating them... So after only a few limbs remained from the two corpses, Muz@n left. Zenitsu burried the remains of the corpses and apologized with tears forming in his eyes... Zenitsu then made a promise too himself too NEVER eat or harm a person again.. Even if he had too starve, wich surprisingly- he never felt hungry. He then got dressed in more comfortable clothes and a haori he found in gramp's closet to remind Zenitsu of him..

Its been months since Zenitsu got turned into a demon and was now currently hiding in a cave since that was the closest place too hide when the sun came out i guess he was having fun running around in his small form which he just discovered he could do-

he also discovered something when a demon slayer was chasing him all night, with Zenitsu ending up with a few scratches, as he slept in the cave again because home was too far, the next morning Zenitsu looked at the scratches and they disappeared! So that was cool. Even tho hes a demon, his wounds dont really heal in an instant for some reason so he was deffinently shocked. When it was night again, he decided too take a walk outside since he saw the beautiful moon.. (Whenever Zenitsu goes out in the night, he either just stays in his normal height, or turns small if he thinks that he will come across somewhere crowded or a demon slayer again) ofcourse Zenitsu didn't want too die or get caught again so- he turned as small as a child. As he was walking, when suddenly he came across Tanjiro with a katana in his hands.
