The Main's Demon

Chapter 2, training company

Tanjiro's POV:

There was a man with a tengu mask behind me- he startled me!- The man then said: "You wont kill it by just stabbing the head.'
I looked confused at him as he continued. 'Think logically.'
Hm, I did and I found a rock so...I needed to smash his head. But-
I would have to hit him in the head multiple times. Can't there be another way to make the procedure faster? As I just stood there the sun was about to come up, burning the demon in front of me.

I saw that Nezuko went to go sleep in the cabin here.
Then the tengu man said his name was Urokodaki Sakonji.
He told me to wake Nezuko up to follow him too his place. So I did and we both started to follow Urokodaki. He was fast- i thought ,how could he run that fast? When we got there I could tell you I was EXHAUSTED- Urokodaki then said that the training was just starting...are you kidding?-

Nezuko's pov:

Urokodaki-san said the training was just starting-
I was still exhausted so I crawled inside and just layed on the floor out of exhaustion. I think i eventually fell asleep-

(YEAH YEAH THE NEXT MORNING)

Me and Tanjiro where put in different training methods.
I heard that oni-chan needed to go up a mountain and find his way back down while I was sleeping...I saw him still sleeping next to me so I got up to go too Urokodaki's training as he told. I saw him in a bamboo field as he told me to try attacking him. I hesitated for a while then I was heading towards him ready to attack him. HE FLIPPING THREW ME IN THE AIR- I then landed on my legs luckily. My legs hurt now.. :(

And that went on for a while when I realized what I needed to do.

(Sorry I don't know what to put here as Nezuko's training continued)

Tanjiro's pov:

I woke up again seeing Nezuko training with Urokodaki.
I tried to get up the mountain myself and climb my way back down as Urokodaki told me while he was busy with Nezuko.

((And yeah- they trained for 1 WHOLE YEAR-) (also sorry for the BIG time skip)

Urokodaki then told us that we had to cut a bolder.
That looked impossible looking at the size of the thing-
He then never taught us anything again.

Me and Nezuko where struggling HORRIBLY at cutting this bolder...

6 Months have passed trying to cut this damn bolder- :,)
I was literally about to give up..

But one night I saw something out of the window as I was just getting in the cabinet. Nezuko was still out training while Urokodaki told us he was going to the village for a few hours.

I got out I closer look and-

It was a demon.

I looked in shock while I was looking for things to kill it.
I found Urokodaki's Katana so I picked it up- he wouldn't mind.....right? As I was heading out to the demon, I noticed that it was the size of a child. The demon looked scared and hid behind the bushes?

Zenitsu's pov:

I was just taking a walk out since the moon was beautiful... I got tiny because I didnt want to get caught by a demon slayer and get killed. But then I see something, I see a person holding a katana in front of me! I panicked and got scared and hid behind some bushes- like that would cover me- but still...it was the only thing for me to hide myself behind.

But then I started to feel a sudden pain in my stomach. I was hungry-

I got in front of the bushes and sprinted to the person. I never actually longed for humans for a VERY VERY VERY long while but..i guess i was suddenly graving for it?
He then put a katana against my mouth from preventing me to bite him. I was getting really hungry...I grew bigger to pressure him more, thats when I realized he had red and black hair with a scar on his forehead and hanafuda earrings. I started to get really hungry...- as he was still holding the katana against my mouth, i wanted to resist so badly..but i couldn't. Even after making a promise to myself! I started crying while i was still trying to resist. Wow, i really am pathetic...

Tanjiro's pov:

The demon suddenly began crying?- i somehow smelled a desperate and also sad scent coming from this demon..it looked like it wanted to resist biting me?- I was confused- I then saw Urokodaki behind him about to attack him with another katana by his side. I quickly moved and,

protected him

The blow that Urokodaki was using to try and kill the demon was so strong that when i got out of the way the blow threw me against a tree. I hit a tree with the demon in my arms that had turned I'm guessing in his normal size again. Urokodaki looked at me and the demon. 'Why did you protect it? These creatures need to be killed.' He said angrily. The demon became as small as a child again as i smelled fear coming from him. Poor guy.. "Please don't hurt him! I know this sounds strange, but please believe me, He didn't bite me! Altought it looked like he was about too- I know he was trying his best to resist! He even was crying ontop of me! I smelled that he was desperate trying to resist, please don't kill him!" I was shocked at my own words.. Was i really defending a demon? Ofcourse i was! Demons should be killed, but if they did nothing and are innocent and people would want to kill them..i would gladly protect an innocent demon! Urokodaki just looked at me in surprise that i defended a demon while the demon was getting really scared of Urokodaki so he just sobbed a bit in my arms..

Suddenly he came charging to me and the demon, so i turned my back against him but Urokodaki managed to get the demon out of my arms. "DEMONS ARE EVIL, they are the reason your family is dead! If you wont kill him.. I would need to kill him." "N-NO! please dont! He didnt so anything wrong! As i was about to get a rock on the ground, Urokodaki then stabbed the demon..

So i charged at him with the rock and the katana to get the demon back save. I wasnt ACTUALLY going to attack him but im making him think i am, so i did like i was charging at him with a katana and he fell for it! But then he chopped me in the neck and that made me pass out-

Zenitsu's pov:

Wait.. Did he just pass out because of me?.. Is this all my fault we're in this situation right now?- ofcourse it is! It always has.. I cant believe it. I'm so sorry person, you probably wont be able to be a demon slayer because he protected me! A demon! I felt myself crying then. How pathetic- i atleast tried to get out of this man's grip to help the person but he wouldn't let go... I just kept on crying while still trying to reach out too that guy. I think the old man saw that and eventually let go?
When he let me go, i ran to the guy and tried to wake him up, and he gladly woke up! He then looked at me kinda relieved? He seems so kind.. Protecting a totally random stranger. Let alone a demon. I'm thankfull to him. I feel kinda sleepy, and i didnt know why tho- so i just slept next too him by a tree.

Tanjiro's pov:

"Okay..i wont try to kill your little demon but, IF he EVER eats an innocent human, you would need to do 2 things. First, you will need to kill him. Secondly, you slit your own belly and die. Thats what it is too protect or travel around with a demon if you want to carry him in your journeys." I was relieved on what Urokodaki said. I look at the demon sleeping right next too me. He looked very peaceful.. And not to mention cute-
Wait- Keep a hold of yourself Tanjiro! You just met this demon- DEMON!! I get up and carry the demon on my back into the cabinet. He looks even cuter up close!! All of his features.. But i must not get these thoughts tho- i am the oldest brother after all.

Zenitsu's pov:

I woke up in a bed with 2 people surrounding me while they where talking about traveling until they saw that i was awake. I saw the boy that protected me and the guy with the tengu mask from earlier. I was still kinda scared of the tengu masked guy but i guess he didn't want to kill/ attack me anymore so that's good :D. I realized the hanafuda earringed boy behind him. The boy with the earrings introduced himself as "Tanjiro Kamado" i said my name was Zenitsu Agatsuma!
