Izuku walked out of the shop with a weird feeling in his stomach.

He walked back down to his spot on the beach and sat down and watched as the sun fully disappeared across the horizon, causing the lights that lined the path behind the beach to illuminate. Casting his shadow across the rippled sand.

Another shadow emerged and got closer, and soon Izuku felt a presence sit beside him, sighing.

The boy handed him a coffee cup and a paper bag with a croissant inside it. Izuku took it and nodded a silent thankyou and took a sip of the holy liquid.

They both stared at the water, as the hustle and bustle across the beach slowed down as people went home to sleep.

"Ive seen you here before." The boy said quietly, still monotonous. Izuku turned to glance at him. He was staring intensely at the empty horizon, there were sharp shadows cast across his jaw and cheekbones. Contrasting his hollow eyes and high nose bridge.

Izuku too was affected by the lighting, his hollow face casting distinct lines across his angular features. He was once, long ago, soft, with round healthy cheeks and a natural blush across his nose. But after years of malnourishment and abuse he was left deflated, his skin pale and tight along his face.

They looked oddly similar, both tired, and lanky. The only differences were izuku's green fluffy hair compared to his spiky violet hair.

"have you?" Izuku replied after a while.

"Yes" The boy murmered, "years ago"

"Oh." he said simply

"You were beaten, too." he stated, his voice a bit harsher

Izuku felt his muscles tense, had this boy really been watching him? He ignored this statement and took a bite of the croissant.

"Hey, you are just like me. You want to end this all as well."

Izuku flinced

"Stop ignoring me. I saw you every day, for years, you would come here, bleeding at night and wash yourself in the waves. You would cry into the sand. You would never notice me  not matter how obvious i tried to be." The boy took a deep shuddery exhale, "I know what you have gone through. but who are you?"

Izuku saw the boy stare at him, and Izuku met his hard gaze. He saw the boy, his purple eyes full of determination. Izuku just scoffed aloud and pushed the bag back into his arm.

"Dont tell me you know me, nobody knows me." He growled and stood up, towering over the boy who was still sat. He then turned away and walked back in the direction of UA, slinging his bag over his shoulder.

"HEY! STOP! YOU CANT GO!" he heard the boy shout from behind him

After tonight's beachfront encounter izuku found himself stressed and, well, extremely bored. He wandered into the city, passing all the glamourous stores, manikins wearing crocodile skin glittering in the store lights.

He stopped at the local drug store and bought himself a packet of No Doze caffeine pills, as he could feel the 20 espresso shots starting to wear off slowly.

Then he stopped at the closest clothing store and picked up a nice but cheap (and totally made by child labour teehee) outfit. A green shirt, black vest and pants and a red tie to match his shoes.

Midway through the shopping he remembered that he didn't have any money (how could he forget, he's never had money), he was considering trying to sneak out the clothes but realised there was too much not to be noticed and resorted to putting them on in the changing room and sprinting full speed out of the shop. Leaving alarm bells going off and the poor girl who was working the night shift alone having to call the manager and tell him that she'd let the store be robbed on her second shift ever.
