Izuku spent the next couple of hours sucked into the groove, the neon lights blinding his senses, his sight, his logic, his humanity.

 The special thing about Strawberries bar was the people, all his similar age, and all looking for an escape. 

It wasn't like a usual club, where you'd go, dance with a group of your friends and leave with them, or maybe a stranger if you were feeling risky. No, nobody at strawberries knew anybody at strawberries, or at least didn't know them outside of the nights.

They were almost incognito, nobody would recognise them after getting absolutely plastered the whole night, and even if they did, nobody would ever mention it.

It was extremely early in the morning when finally the club started to tone down, its members leaving to go to school, or go back to their deserted homes in the outer suburbs. Izuku had realised around 4 am that Toya had disappeared.

"What a strange encounter." He muttered to himself as he picked up the trampled blazer he had lost on the floor at around 2am, walking slowly across the now deserted bar, "To be fair its not something that happens everyday, your childhood best friend appears after 6 years"

"Still here Izu?" A female voice called out from behind the bar, Hannah popped up from behind the glass rack, her eyeshadow smudged down her cheekbones, "And still talking to yourself, you really haven't changed huh?"

" Am I really that awful?" Izuku asked, feigning disappointment.

"Oh, no!" Hannah retreated, "Izu I would never say that!"

Izuku just chuckled at her, and turned to the door to leave, he did have his first UA classes today after all!

On the long walk home Izuku though about the last 24 hours.

The crazy purple guy - a kindred spirit for sure, but also a stalker for sure. Was he a murderer, probably, was that necessarily a bad thing for Izuku, probably not.

Toya - a memory, from a lifetime ago, things had changed, gotten worse but only now did they seem like they could possibly be getting better. But Toya, Toya had always been a bad omen.

It was too early to think about such life changing or altering revelations at this hour, Izuku decided.

Instead he disassociated the whole way back to the UA entrance gates, realizing he somehow must have gone back to the dorms, put away (or dumped on the floor) his now beer stained suit, washed his crispy ass broccoli hair and put on his uniform on the right way around.

"Oh the wonders of mental illness" 

He said aloud, causing a few of the students to glance at him suspiciously for a moment.
