My six amazing brothers

Chapter 2

We pulled up at the school and I started to make my way to my locker.

"Hey Lynn" my best friend Sydney said. She has long brown hair and is about 5.7 so she's pretty tall. We've been best friends since diapers, our parents have known each other for years. She's like the sister I never had. Syd is also the only person that calls me Lynn, she thinks it's weird for her to call me baby.

"Oh hey Syd, looking gorgeous as always." I said. She wore a white skirt that ended just over her knees and a green shirt that had a little knot on the side. Me and Syd had totally different styles but I guess that's what makes us a perfect match.

"Aww thank you, I actually tried just for you." I smiled at her and said "Really? Because I'm pretty sure that you have a class with Maddie today so..." she blushed at my comment and hit my arm playfully. "Shut up!" I just glared at her and the bell rang.

We said our goodbyes and walked to our classrooms. I had art as my first class this morning. I like art but mostly the teacher, Ria Miller. She is more like a friend than a teacher and she really likes me which is rare. My brothers kind of rule the school and everyone knows who they are that includes me. I like a forbidden fruit for EVERYONE in school and anyone who messes with me will probably end up with a concussion or a broken nose.

I walked in and sat down on my usual spot besides Johnathan. "Hey" he said. "Hi" I greeted. Johnathan is a really good guy with straight A's and shit. I've never been good friends with him but he nice so we've talked a little bit in art class.

When I thought Ria was supposed to come in someone else did.

"Hey everyone, my name is David and I'm about to have you this month because Ria is in Spain" He said. He was maybe around 30 and he had dark styled hair he looked very serious about what he was doing.

David sat down and started to call out all our names. "Babylynn Rhodes?" He called out. "Yeah I'm here" I said. His eyes scanned me carefully before he continued.

"Well, start with whatever you're doing" David said. Everyone started to get their things. I stood up and walked to one of the cupboards where there is paintbrushes, I couldn't quite reach the brushes so I had to stand on my tippy toes. I felt a hand on my lower back and I immediately turned around and slapped the hand away.

"I looks like you need some help here" David chuckled. I looked up to him and backed away, he gave me a few brushes and I went back to my seat. 'Weird' I thought to myself.

After art I had math, physics and then finally lunch. I met Syd in the hallway and made our way to the cafeteria. We grabbed some lunch, it's was some weird pasta in a weird sauce. We spotted my brothers and sat down.

I always had to sit with my brothers at lunch for some odd reason, but I'm well respected in school so I guess it makes up for it.

"We have football practice today so you'll have to wait for us" Jake said while chewing. "Yeah I know I have dance later so..." "God what did I say about the attitude?" He's literally so annoying. I mumbled a little sorry and started eating.

Me and Syd had our own little conversation when Leo spoke up " Can I have the rest of your food Baby?" People who don't know me must think everyone is giving me a pet name. "Yeah sure" I said and he didn't waste a second because he started eating.

"Pig" I called him and all his friends laughed.

"Haha you're so funny lil sis" he said. "Please tell me something I didn't know" I smiled sarcastically at him.

"Well I have to go now, but I'll see you later Lynn" Syd said and kissed my cheek. "Later Syd".

After about 2 minutes Liam was talking about some "awesome" thing he did on his last football game. I couldn't stand listening to this so I stood up and walked away.

When I walked down the hallway I heard a bunch of loud banging noises.

"Damn it!"

"Peace of shit!"

"I wasted my last money on this bullshit!"

When I saw what happened the first thing I noticed was that Logan Smith was standing in front of a candy machine, he punched and kicked the machine.

" Uhmm you know that there's another way to get what you want instead of beating the shit out of it" I said. Logan was a soccer player, probably the best one. He had blond fluffy hair and blue eyes.

"Oh, wait really?" Logan said. "Yeah well you just need to do it right" I said smirking at him while he looked clueless. I walked over to the machine and punched in 571244 and then I saw how a the bag of Sour patch kids fell down.

Logan looked at me with wide eyes. " How did you know?" "Well I had brothers who taught me" I said.

I picked up the candy and ripped it open and poured some into my hand before I took of to class. I left Logan and he looked like a big question mark.
