Chapter 24

"Thank you so much" Max smiled up at me when I gave her the cotton candy.

"Of course sweetie" I stroked her head softly. I bought her cotton candy while I just went with a pepsi zero since. We walked over to the bleachers and sat down, pretty close to the field. Further way I saw Syd walking towards us with a smile on her face.

"Hey" she said and kissed my head and sat down beside me "Who is this cutie?" She asked Max.

"I'm Maxine, but can say Max" Max smiled with cotton candy all over her face. I chuckled a little at the sight.

"Well my names Sydney, but you can call me Syd. I'm a friend of Babylynn" Syd smiled.

"Otay" she took anoter piece of cotton candy into her mouth.

"She's so cute" Syd whispered to me and I just nodded and mouthed an 'I know' with a big smile.

We chatted for a while until Syd spotted Maddie sitting alone.

"Should I go over there?" She looked hesitantly at me.

"Of course you should! Go ahead and we'll talk later okay" I encourage her. She smiled and walked away and I gave her a good luck air kiss.

Suddenly I heard a little gasp beside me, I looked down at Max who looked at the field with the biggest eyes I've ever seen. "Look! It start now" she squealed.

"Yeah it does" I chuckled. I don't think that I've ever seen anyone smile that bright before. She must really like to see Logan play. I mean I like to see my brother's games too but this is another level.

We heard the whistle and the game started. Logan is playing offensive forward, he's pretty good to be honest.

Logan had the ball on his feet, he was running and dibbled past all the players from the other team. He was about 30 feet away from the goal and he hit the ball with force, the ball flew right up the middle of the goal and the whole crowd went wild. Everyone was cheering and shouting, Max jumped up from her seat and threw her hands in the air.

I cheered as well, watching her jumping around and chuckled. "Logi scored!" She yelled.

I looked down at the field where Logan was, but to my surprise he looked right up at me. When our eyes met he grinned and mouthed 'One to go'. I smiled with a little laugh.

Everything was throwing their arms in the air as soon as the end whistle was heard.

Max jumped up into my arms with a huge smile. "They won!"

"They did" I said happily. And just like Logan promised, he made two goals.

After some time we walked towards the locker rooms to wait for Logan so Max could get home.

"So who your favorite brother?" Max asked me while she jumped around me on one leg.

"Oh uhm, I don't know really. They're all pretty good in their own way y'know"

"I also want big family, I only have Logi" I felt bad for her when she said that but she didn't seem to bothered about that.

"Talking about me?" A voice said behind us.

"Logi!" Max ran up to him, giving him a big hug. Logan picked her up and placed her on his hip.
