"Lynn, are you even listening?" Syd said waving her hand in front of my face."What? Yeah I-I'm listening" I licked my upper lip while looking up at her, closing her locker while I sat leaned against mine.
"Really? What was I talking about then?" She raised her eyebrows.
"Uhm-"
"See! You're not listening. What's going on?" She said with concern and crunched down beside me.
"Nothing, just tired" I closed my eyes slightly and sighed.
"Sure? I mean after what happened Friday-"
"Syd, I mean it. I'm good, my dad aren't the happiest and my brothers might tie me up as soon as I walk through the door but other than that I'm pretty good" I gave her a soft smile.
"Yeah bet" Syd said under her breath. "I got really freaked out when you just disappeared like that and I-I didn't know what to do, i-if Logan hadn't found you I would've gone insane Lynn"
"I'm sorry, I just- I didn't think straight" I ran my hand through my blonde curls.
"Okay well, now I want to know what's going on with you and mister soccer player" Sydney always knew when to stop talking about something that makes me to emotional, too bad she started talking about this.
I groaned "Nothing!"
"God you're in denial" she laughed and shook her head.
"Stop! We're just- I don't know- friends? I guess" I breathed out and she looked at me like I was stupid.
"Friends my ass. He drove around all town in the middle of the night looking for you 'cause you're just friends?" She raised her eyebrows with a grin.
"I don't even know him Syd!" I slapped her arm.
She clicked her tongue and sighed "And? He clearly wants you!" I gave her a death glare. "Well I mean, everyone wants you" Sydney smirked.
"That's not true!"
"Sooo is though!"
"I swear to god" I muttered.
"Whatever you say love" she chuckled.
To be honest I don't know what I think about Logan, I mean he's sweet but still annoying and cocky. I don't know if I can deal with him but I promised to babysit his sister. Maybe I shouldn't but she's cute so I'm gonna do it.
"Oh shit, we have class come on!" Syd stood up and grabbed my hand. I flinched at her sudden outburst.
"Oh shit yeah" I looked at the time.
We started running towards the classroom but halfway there a voice stopped me.
"Hey Baby! Can I talk to you for a minute?" It was David. Just when I heard his voice I felt shivers running down my spine and I stopped in my tracks.
"Uhm I-yeah" I cleared my throat and Syd looked at me with a skeptical expression. I just nodded at her "You can go, tell Miss Collins that I'll be there in a minute" Syd nodded, gave David a death glare and walked off.
"So uhm, how about you we talk in my office?" I furrowed my brows.
"Why? Is it something important or-?"
"Very, come on" he said with a stern tone.
"Okay?" We walked over to his office. It felt weird, I've barely even had so many lessons with him. All the time he talks to me he's weird and pervy.
David closed the door behind us and motioned for me to sit down. "I'm good" I said coldly.
"Okay, your loss" he whispered walking a little closer.
