Chapter 16

I sat in art class and painted trying to get all my thoughts out of my head. I couldn't really concentrate in any other classes but right now I just had to sit down and paint. I also tried to ignore the fact that David was the teacher in this class, I could see how he looked over to me but I just kept painting. I don't even know what he wants, but I definitely don't have the energy to deal with it right now.

"Okay class, time's almost up so start to clean up" Davids voice cut the silence.

I was almost done with my painting so next lesson I just had to pix some shadows and stuff. I stood up and walked over to the sink since no one was there yet. When I was done I put them back where they belonged and walked back to my seat.

Then when everyone was done we waited for the bell to ring, and finally it did. I begun to walk out but Davids voice stopped me.

"Miss Rhodes, would you please have a little chat?" I couldn't believe it, I can't even walk out of this damn room without being stopped. I nodded a little and waited for everyone to leave. Then Jonathan passed me and looked at me with concern, he had noticed how David had acted towards me since he sits besides me. I looked up at him and shrugged, he sent me a quick smile before he walked out.

I turned to David "what?" I asked.

"I just wanted to say that you're a good student" he walked closer to me "and really pretty too" he tucked some of my hair behind my ear.

I grabbed his wrist and threw it off me "Get the hell off me!" I yelled and his eyes darkened.

Before he had the chance to react I walked out, I pulled my hood over my head and got to my locker as fast as possible. Why can't people leave me alone, like I'm not that interesting.

I opened my locker and just as I was about to close it someone slammed it for me. I flinched a bit because of the sound. I looked up and saw Jaxon standing there with his usual grin on his face.

"Hey Baby" he said and leaned against my locker.

'Of course an other idiot'

"What do you want?" I asked, very calmly actually.

"Nothing, just wondering if you're going to Maddie's tonight" he crossed his arms and looked down at me. He's really tall compared to me even though he's shorter than Logan. 'Wait, why are you thinking about him?'

"Yeah I'm going, why?" I'm so bored of this conversation already, I have a thousand more important things to do right now and one of them is literally cleaning my locker. He just smirked a bit and kept looking at me, if it wasn't for the warning I already had I would have punched him too.

"Oh! Nothing, just wanted to ask so I would be sure that there's some hot girls going" he moved a little closer to me and I looked at him like he was stupid, well he is stupid but you know what I mean.

"You're Jaxon right?" A guy said behind us, he looked away from me and over to him. He stopped smirking and he backed up a bit.

"Tyler, pleasure to see you" I said sarcastically not even looking his way. I recognized his voice.

"Yeah yeah, whatever" he replied and walked up besides me and looked over at Jax "For what I know, Liam is going to be here soon so if you don't want to get home in an ambulance I think you should walk away" Jaxon looked a little confused between us.

"Wait, what? You two?" He asked with confusion.

"No! Ew! That's like really gross dude" I said and scrunched my nose.

"I grew up with her, man. Plus she's like a sister to me!" Tyler walked closer to him, making eye contact and I just rolled my eyes.

"Come on, cut it out! Stop with this macho thing and just leave me alone! Both of you!" I said upset.
