Chapter 13

I was sitting and painting on my desk, humming on "Holding out for a hero" with Bonnie Tyler.

"Is it going well, Baby?" David asked and placing a hand beside me. I looked up a bit and moved a little bit away from him.

"Yeah" I mumble.

"Good, really good" he said and leaning against me a bit more. I noticed that my right foot started to shake and he bend down to my ear and whispered "Overall, you're very good" I froze and he walked away.

Jonathan looked at me with concern.

"Hey, you okay? You look kinda pale" I snapped back to reality.

"U-uhm, yeah, just tired I guess" I sent him a quick smile.

Logan's pov:

"It's like you know, everyone just respects us and make room for us, I even saw some people eat on the floor just so we could sit there, but apparently not Baby" Jax said and we all just looked at him with a weird expression.

"Dude, you really think she would throw herself at you like that? She's even more respected than us" Nate chuckled.

"Oh yeah, plus I've heard that she totally kicked a dude's ass yesterday" Theo said.

"Well she did" I said a bit quieter and they all looked at me.

"Wait what?" Jax took a small step closer.

"Yeah, it was after soccer and I walked home but then I saw her in the gas station beating someone up" I explained. They looked at me with a shocked expression.

"Damn, that's cool" Nate said and I rolled my eyes.

"What's your weird obsession with her about?!" I raised my voice a bit.

"Well I'm not that interested in her" Theo shruged.

"I mean she's hot and the only girl who doesn't want me, of course I'm into her, dude" Jax explained like it was the easiest thing in the world.

"Yeah yeah, I have class anyway, but I'll see you later right?" I rolled my eyes a bit and looked at them.

"Yup, the burgers are waiting for us!" Theo said with a smile.

We did our handshake and I walked to class.

Baby's pov:

I looked at the clock and I just wanted this lesson to end, but it was five minutes left.

"Okay, you can clean up your mess and then you're diss missed" David said and everyone stood up to clean their brushes.

I put all my items back and walked as fast as possible to my locker. On my way to the locker I saw Syd waiting for me.

"Syd! I'm so happy to see you!" I shouted and she immediately looked up from her phone with a big smile painted on her face.

"Me too!" She chuckled.

We talked a bit before we had to go to class.

The whole school day went by fast, and right now I'm waiting for my brothers, again. But this time I sat down outside the school, watching people leave and some people were skating around. I wished I had my own board right now because it's boring as fuck to just sit here.

Five minutes went by, then ten, then fifteen. I didn't want to wait anymore so I decided to walk home, or at least a bit.

Me: I walk home, cya there.

Jake😑: k, be careful

I put my phone in my pocket and started to walk home, again.
