***2 MONTHS LATER***
A month after I left Chris's place I had a meeting, got all my tour dates and appearances I would have to make. 2 hours after that meeting I was on a flight to Boston and being picked up to go to Chris's house and had been here for a month. No one knew I was here and we liked keeping it that way. We were eventually going to be telling everyone just because I knew I wanted to see Scott and they were all started to get suspicious why Chris never wanted to leave home or was picky when people would just come over. Megan and Terry, our managers, knew where I was but they promised not to say anything.
I woke up alone in bed one morning, I didn't even have Dodger and I felt Chris's side of the bed and it was stone cold, this was odd for him. He wouldn't wake up and not tell me. I grabbed my phone and went to see if he had texted me but nothing. I noticed it was 10am so I got out of bed and put on a pair of short shorts and a t-shirt of Chris's I found on the floor. I put my hair up in a messy bun and walked out of the bedroom. I heard Chris in the kitchen, so I walked in the kitchen.
"Why didn't you wak -..." I started to say and then I saw Chris sitting there but he wasn't alone...Scott was there as well.
"I KNEW IT!" Scott yelled. I just crossed my arms with a smirk and looked at Chris who was hanging his head with a smile. "I KNEW IT!" Scott yelled again and came over to me and hugged me.
"How did you know?" Chris asked as Scott released me and I went over to stand with Chris, he grabbed my hips and placed my back to his front between his legs and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"I just knew, anytime I called Kins she was super secretive and anytime any of us wanted to hang out or come over you had to really plan things out. I had a feeling you two were together." Scott said and I smiled.
"When do you think it happened?" I asked.
"The premiere..." Scott said and I turned my head to look at Chris and he smirked with a small nod.
"I mean I guess that's when you could say it started but Chris came back to Georgia for the movie and we just started seeing each other." I said and Chris smiled and kissed my shoulder.
"How long have you been here?" Scott asked and I blushed.
"A month." I said not making eye contact with him and I heard him gasp. I grabbed Chris's cup of coffee and took a sip from it since I didn't get a chance to get my own.
"A month! You couldn't even tell me?!" Scott asked and I sighed.
"Scott we didn't tell anyone. The only people who know are Megan ad Terry and that's just because Terry has to keep tabs on me. I leave in a few months for tour and press junkets." I said and Scott sighed.
"Were you ever going to tell us?" Scott asked and Chris nodded as he placed his chin on my shoulder.
"I was going to invite her to Sunday dinner at Ma's. Think you can keep the secret for 2 days?" Chris asked and Scott nodded. I then turned and looked at Chris.
"Meeting the family huh? Big step Evans." I said and Chris smiled.
"Well I figured they should meet the woman I love." Chris said and I gave him a small kiss.
"Love?!" Scott asked and I smiled at him as did Chris.
"Love." I said and Scott smiled.
"You two do look perfect together, I mean you looked good at the premiere but here in t-shirts and shorts...this is a much better look." Scott said and pulled his phone out.
"Scott..." Chris groaned.
"Please! I swear no one will see. I just want a picture of you both looking so adorable." Scott said and I looked at Chris.
"Just smile Evans." I said and he smiled. As Scott was about to take the picture Chris snuck and kissed my cheek. I smiled bigger and Scott smiled.
"It's a keeper. I will send it to the both of you." Scott said and I smiled at him.
"Thanks Scott." I said and he smiled. He walked over and even though Chris still had a hold of my me he kissed my forehead.
"I'm heading out. Let you two be alone..." Scott said and waggled his eyebrows.
"Remember to not tell anyone." Chris said and Scott nodded.
"Got it." Scott said and headed to the front door. Once it was shut Chris spun me in his grip and I giggled.
"Why didn't you wake me and tell me not to come out?" I asked and Chris shrugged as I placed my arms around his neck as his hands linked behind my back.
"I guess because...maybe I was ready for someone to know and I figured Scott was the best first person." Chris said and I smiled at him and shook my head.
"I can't believe you want me to meet your family." I said and Chris shrugged.
"You're in town, I have missed the last 4 dinners because you have been here and I wasn't leaving so it will explain everything." Chris said and I smiled.
"I can't believe you missed dinners." I said and Chris shrugged.
"They survived without me." Chris said and I laughed.
"Well you have to fill me in on the family. I have no clue what I'm walking in to." I said.
"Well You know me and Scott obviously. My sisters, the oldest Carly and then the baby Shanna. Carly is married with 3 kids Stella 3, Miles 4 and Ethan 8. They are my everything." Chris said and I smiled at him.
"So Uncle Chris is the favorite?" I asked and he nodded.
"Heck yeah." Chris said and I laughed. I leaned down and gave him a small kiss.
"Do you ever want any?" I asked and Chris sighed and half nodded.
"I mean, yeah, I guess if I found the right person. Filming gifted made me see how hard it is raising a kid." Chris said and I sighed.
"But that was a movie role, this would be real life. Your own kid." I said and Chris nodded.
"Yeah I know but I guess it would just take finding the right person and the right timing." Chris said and I nodded. "What about you?" Chris said and I just shrugged and sighed.
"I never thought about it honestly...I guess I'm undecided." I said and Chris just half nodded sensing a hesitation but he wouldn't push.
"Well we have time." Chris said and I nodded.
"Exactly. Don't rush this." I said and Chris leaned in and passionately kissed me. He wrapped me in his arms just a little tighter and I rested my head against his shoulder now thinking about what would happen with kids....
