It was intermission at my hometown show and I was getting nervous for what was coming next and I had no one backstage to calm me because they didn't know my plan. Only security knew my plan because I needed them ready to help me.
This was a choice I made last night after Chris fell asleep in my bedroom at my house I still owned in Nashville. It prompted me to wake up and write a brand-new song to do at this show. Rumors had been circulating for weeks and no one was piecing everything together so now it was time to take matters into my own hands. There was a knock on the door and Connie peaked in and I smiled at her.
"You ready?" Connie asked and I nodded.
"How are you liking the new job?" I asked and she smiled at me.
"It's a big change." Connie said.
"Well I needed a manager who cared and you care." I said and Connie smiled at me.
About a week ago I fired Terry. I found him trying to leak stories about Chris and I. We were pissed and made the decision he was done even before the tour was over. I walked out to the stage and took my spot. The lights hadn't even come up yet but the crowd was going crazy. I changed back to sweet Kinsley for this portion of the show which was a shock for everyone in attendance. The lights came up and they saw the hot pink and silver sparkly romper.
"NASHVILLE! God I missed you guys!" I said excitedly and the crowd went nuts. "You guys have always been the best support system for me and I wouldn't be here without your love and support, thank you so much for everything!" I said. I looked up at my parents in the box with Chris and they were standing next to him. I blew them all a kiss. They sent one back to me and I smiled.
"Now being in Nashville I think it's only far I share some secrets with you guys and also give you a brand-new song I wrote, last night..." I said and they all cheered. I walked down the catwalk on the stage and I saw security and smiled at them.
"Now...there have been some rumors going around about me and a certain superhero dating..." I started to say and looked at Chris, he looked skeptical as the entire crowd went insane. "Well I think it's time to set the record straight. Guys, I'm so in love with Chris Evans it isn't even funny and I call dibs on him!" I said and the crowd went nuts as Chris laughed and was shaking his head. The music started.

There was a long guitar break here in the song and now was my chance. I jumped off the stage with the help of security. They got me through the crowd and helped get me hurriedly to the box where Chris and my parents were sitting. There was no easy way to get in so I sat on the edge, swung my legs over and jumped in the box. I put one arm around Chris's neck since I was holding the mic with the other and he placed his arms around my waist pulling me close to him. I wanted to sing the last half to him like it was only us in the world.

Once I finished the song Chris was laughing but leaned in and passionately kissed me. I didn't hear the crowd or anything around me. All that mattered was Chris, all that mattered was this man right here with me. Once we broke apart Chris smiled at me placing his forehead against mine since as we kissed his hat got pushed off.
"You're crazy Kinsley Harlow." Chris said and I shrugged.
"Only crazy for you Chris Evans." I said.
"Forever?" Chris asked and I nodded with a smile.
"Forever." I said. Chris smiled and pulled something from his pocket and he opened the ring box and I gasped. Fans couldn't hear what was happening but saw everything on the jumbotron screens. "Chris?" I asked in shock.

"I love you Kinsley Harlow and that will never change, I planned on doing this tonight at home but you decided to embarrass me so time to embarrass you." Chris said with a smile and I gave a small laugh. "So I asked you here in front of all these thousands of people, where it would be really shitty if you turned me down, will you marry me?" Chris said and I laughed at his speech but nodded.
"Yes!" I said and he passionately kissed me again and placed the ring on my finger as the arena erupted again.
"Now I'm calling dibs on you Kinsley." Chris said and I hugged him. Then became hyper aware I had a show to finish. I put the mic back up to my mouth.
"Sorry guys! This man just became my fiancé!" I yelled and everyone cheered.
