After taking a quick shower, I dry my hair and find one of Patrick's shirts to wear. I go downstairs.
He's sat at the kitchen counter on his laptop. He smiles at me. "Good morning" he says, scanning my body. "Good morning" I put my hands on his stomach and back, leaning in to kiss his cheek.
"I had an amazing night last night" I whisper in his ear. "That's good to hear.. so did I" he turns to me. I step between his legs. He puts his hands on my waist.
"Is tal here?" I ask, smirking slightly as I look at his toned stomach. He's only wearing pyjama bottoms. "I'm here" she walks in. He smiles at me slightly as I pull away from him.
"Good morning sweetie, how did you sleep?" I smile at her. "Good" she says. "Good" I say. She hands me a bottle of water. "Thank you" I drink it.
"Tallula is going to school in a little while, are you going to stay here to.. run over lines with me?" He asks suggestively, standing up. I smile, nodding.
"I do know what that actually means, you know" tallula says. "Shut up, smart ass" he says. She giggles. I laugh.
"I'm gonna go" she grabs her bag. "Are you sure you don't want a lift baby?" He asks. "I'm okay walking" she says.
"Okay, have a good day at school.. I love you" he kisses her head. "Love you too.. bye ellen" she says. "Bye" I smile at her. She leaves.
"I know it was a euphemism.. but I really do want to run lines with you first" I say. "Okay, thats fine" he says. I grab my lines.
We go to the couch and start running lines together. We eventually just end up making out.
"I don't remember telling you that you can take one of my shirts" he grins, pulling away. "I stole it" I giggle. "I know.. you naughty little- oww!" He yells as he gets his arm stuck in the couch. I laugh at him.
"Bitch" He says. "Call me that again" I look into his eyes. "Bit-" he stops, grinning. I giggle. He kisses me. "That's what I thought" I say. He chuckles.
The doorbell rings. He furrows his brows. "Who the hell got through the gate" he chuckles, standing up. He goes and opens the door. I sit up straight.
"Jillian" he says. He hugs a blonde woman. She walks in. "What are you doing here?" He smiles. "I'm here to see my baby" she says. "She just left for school" he says.
She finally looks over and sees me. "Oh, this is ellen.. she's my c-" he says. "Co-star.. yes Patrick, I have been watching your show" she says.
"Have you?" He smiles. She nods. "That's a first" he chuckles. He holds his hand out to me. I shake my head, feeling a bit nervous.
"I'm not watching it for you.. you know I've always had a thing for Chris O'Donnell" she says. He rolls his eyes. "You're unbelievable" he chuckles. She smiles.
"Tal has been missing you" he says and I see an awkwardness immediately rise in the air. "I've been busy" she says. "You haven't called.. texted.. even emailed" he says.
"Like I said-" she says. "Busy, yeah" he cuts her off. "Patrick, your co-star is wearing one of your shirts" she says. I pretend to be looking over lines.
"So?" He asks. "So you've obviously not missed me" she says. "I didn't say I did.. I said your daughter has been" he says.
"Then why would I come to visit?.. you've moved on" she puts her hand on his chest. He pulls it away. "To see your daughter" he says firmly.
"I'm going to go upstairs" I stand up. "No, Ellen I'm sorry" he walks over. "Jillian why don't you go? Come back later when tal is out of school" he says.
"Can I not stay here?" She asks. "I can go, patrick" I say. "No, you're not going" he looks at me.
"Do you have money for a hotel room?" He asks her. "Yes" she says. "Call me when you're coming back over and I'll let tal know" he says. "Okay" she says quietly. She leaves.
"Are you alright?" I ask. "Of course" he smiles. "Pat, I know when you're acting" I smile small. "Tallula doesn't deserve the way she treats her.. her mom doesn't even care about her" he says.
"She has the best dad, though.. you're always there for her.. that's what she deserves.. you" I put my hand on his cheek. He looks at me. He smiles small.
"I'm sorry about before.. I wasn't expecting her at all" he says. "Its okay, I know" I shrug.
"I can walk you home if you want.. I dont want you to feel pressured into staying" he says. "I'll stay" I smile. We sit down together on the couch.
