"And we win !" Bheem cheered happily as he and Manvendra reached first in the Pramankoti.
Kunti who was sitting inside, making Laddoos, peeked outside and got shocked seeing Manvendra carrying Bheem on his back.
"He really is son of Manyu." She muttered, as they both came in, followed by the rest of the Pandavas, along with Yuyutsu and Dusshala.
"Mata, now you need to give me and Manvendra two extra laddoos, because we won !" Bheem said getting off of Manvendra's back.
"Alright." Kunti smiled.
She picked up few Laddoos and was about to give Manvendra, but the moment he extended his hands, she pulled hers away.
"You think you'll get these laddoos, just like so ?" Kunti asked playfully.
"Just tell me Kakishree, what I have to do for your Laddoos ? I'll even go to Patal for them !" Manvendra said dramatically, making his aunt chuckle.
"I'm not going to send you to Patal my Su-smit, just smile for me once." Kunti said.
Manvendra gave her a smile, making her sigh in delight as she caressed his face.
"Here you go." Kunti said feeding the two Laddoos to him with her own hands.
"Mata, will you give me extra Laddoos if I smile ?" Nakul asked.
"No. You lost the race Nakul. Now you can't go back on your own words." Bheem said making Nakul pout.
Kunti chuckled before giving the plate of Laddoos to Yudhisthir.
"Son, distribute them with your cousins equally." Kunti said, "I shall be off to see, Sulabha." She added.
"I'll also come. I want to tell Kakishree about the game we played !" Dusshala said.
"As you wish, come." Kunti smiled holding the small hands of Dusshala, and they both went on their way to meet Sulabha.
Yudhisthir served the laddoos to his brothers and cousins. While savoring them and getting bliss in their delightful taste, the eyes of Manvendra fell on Sehdev.
He had finished his share of laddoos, but his eyes were looking at the plate, and his expressions showed how he wanted to ask more from Yudhishthir but didn't know whether he should or not.
Manvendra smiled at the introverted nature of his youngest cousin, before giving two of his laddoos to him.
"Have them." He said.
"But they are yours, Taat." He said.
"I've already had two extra Laddoos. You may have them." Manvendra said.
"Thank you !" Sehdev giggled joyously enjoying the two extra Laddoos he got.
Yudhisthir smiled at them, he was incredibly thankful for a cousin like Manvendra, so generous and thoughtful, who'd always come to know what the other person wants without them telling.
The sounds of footsteps fell on the ears of the elder Pandav, he turned his head to see Duryodhan and his brothers passing by.
"Duryodhan !" Yudhisthir called.
"What ?" The Gandhari-nandan asked disinterested.
"Mata has made delicious Laddoos, come have some." Yudhisthir said.
At that Duryodhan made a disgusted face looking at him up and down.
"I do not eat the food made by forest-dwellers." Duryodhan said.
"Duryodhan !" Bheem stood up, clenching his fists.
"What gluton ?" The eldest Kaurav asked.
Bheem walked towards Duryodhan, while Manvendra rushed behind him holding Vrikoder's hand, not wanting any scene to be created.
"Yeah yeah. Hold him back, lest I lose my temper." Duryodhan said.
"Do you have to act like such a menace ?" Manvendra asked.
"Control your tongue, son of Dasiputra. Know your place." Duryodhan said folding hands.
At that Manvendra looked at Bheem, who raised his brow at him, as if asking for permission, the Vidurputra shrugged his shoulders, letting go of Vrikoder's hand.
And then the very next moment Bheem got hold of Duryodhan, and threw him in the river, the Kauravas gasped.
"HOW DARE YOU DO THAT !?" Dushashan exclaimed coming forward.
"Like so." Manvendra said kicking the hips of Dushashan, causing him to fall in the river as well. Yuyutsu chuckled while Arjun, Nakul and Sehdev laughed.
Manvendra then snapped his head at the Kauravas, who took a step back, feeling his gaze drilling through their bones.
"Anyone else wants a demonstration ?" Manvendra asked.
"N-No." The Kauravas shook their heads.
"Then go eat the laddoo that Kaki Kunti made with so much love." Manvendra told.
The Kauravas nodded nervously and rushed towards Yudhishthir, extending their hands at him. The eldest Pandav suppressed his chuckle while handing Laddoos to them.
Meanwhile Bheem got Duryodhan out of the river and Manvendra pulled Dushashan out. Both of them sat down on the ground, coughing and breathing heavily.
"Are you good ? Should I call the vaid ?" Bheem asked rubbing Duryodhan's back.
"You both need to think about repercussions your words and actions can have." Manvendra said gently patting Dushashan's back.
Both the sons of Dhritrashtra grunted before getting up and stomping away.
"They are savages !" Dushashan said.
"I'll drown that Vrikoder who threw me in the river !" Duryodhan said gritting his teeth.
