The sun began to set on the horizon. Dhisana sat sadly in her tent, as she removed her ornaments with the help of Bela. She had gotten ready with so much hopes that her husband will take her out today and finally they shall get some time to know each other.
As each and every ornament of hers got removed, Dhisana got more and more disheartened. A sigh of disappointment escaped her lips. She had so many dreams for her marriage, but they seemed too distant to achieve.
Bela sadly looked at the princess of Mlecchas, this morning she was so excited and enthusiastic today to be going out with her husband, and now she sits still insipidly.
"Don't be dejected, princess. Monsoon is soon to come." Bela said.
"What will happen in Monsoon ?" Dhisana asked.
"Monsoon is the season of romance. As the clouds shower rain, the couples shower love on each other." Bela said with a smile.
"But what if Raudra is busy again ?" Dhisana asked.
"The rainy days are for rest. The Ashwarohis shall return to their homes, and Rajkumar shall return to Nagasaharya with you." Bela said.
"Really ?" Dhisana asked hopefully.
"Yes." Bela smiled again.
Dhisana felt a spark of joy, hoping that she'll finally get a chance to spend time with her husband in monsoon.

The Pandavas along with their mother Kunti, walked across the jungle. They were about to cross the borders of the kingdom, but stopped in their tracks seeing guards.
It was night time, if the guards locate them they shall get suspicious or maybe they shall recognise them, which the Pandavas didn't want. Hiding behind the trees, they began to think of a way out.
"What do we do now ?" Nakul asked.
"Maybe we can wait till they go on a round." Bheem said.
"This is the kingdom border, there is no way all of the guards shall leave the border alone." Yudhishthir said.
"Maybe I can use an Astra to make them lose consciousness." Arjun suggested.
"Their reputation will be at stake in that way." Sehdev said.
"Maybe we should take another route." Kunti suggested.
Suddenly a thunderous horse neigh fell on their ears. Hearing it the Pandavas and Kunti knelt down in the shrubs to further hide in the darkness.
"Pranaam Yudh-jeevi !" They heard the guards say.
Hearing the name, they peaked up a little to see Manvendra mounted on his horse, talking to the guards about something. A sense of worry overtook the Pandavas as they feared to be recognised by their cousin.
But suddenly they got confused as they saw all the guards leaving. Manvendra waited till they were out of sight. He then turned his head and looked at the very direction where the Pandavas were hiding.
Knowing there was no use of hiding, Pandavas and Kunti came out.
"Leave quickly." Manvendra told. They all got relieved.
"Thank you, taat." Arjun smiled.
Manvendra just nodded, and so the Pandavas escaped the borders of the kingdom safely. The son of Vidur waited there only.
Soon the guards returned, they had scrolls in their hands.
"These are our reports." They said.
"I'll review them all." Manvendra said taking them, and then leaving swiftly.
He rode his way to Varnavart, entire night was spent in travel. When he finally reached, the sun was rising. There he saw the citizens there were lamenting.
"We lost our great king Pandu, and now we lost his wife and sons as well !"
"First Madri and now Kunti ! O we lost our mother like queens as well !"
"What have we done to endure this punishment !?"
In every lane, people were crying miserably at the 'demise' of Pandavas and Kunti.
Manvendra rode his way to the place where the palace of lac had been made and eventually burnt. Reaching there he got off his horse and began inspecting the palace, as he was supposed to.
The particular ground there had gotten black, he walked around it and looked at everything carefully. There were burnt utensils and weapons while the rest of things had been completely reduced to ashes.
As he walked further, there was a gut wrenching sight for anyone, but not for Manvendra. He saw 6 burnt bodies together. They were completely unrecognisable. He knelt down to inspect them.
'One woman, five men. What a coincidence.' He thought as he observed them further, 'They were definitely drunk and unconscious.' Manvendra deducted from the way they were lying around.
He stood up and went ahead. A little further he found another burnt body, which he recognised from its physical stature.
'This must be Purochan.' He deducted.
Manvendra went around and inspecting the place a little more when he heard the sounds of chariots coming. He looked up and saw three of them coming their way.
On the chariot which had a symbol of Palm tree on it, there was mounted a man of tall and well built stature, he was extremely fair skinned and was dressed in blue. He was extremely good looking and from his muscular stature appeared to be a mace fighter and wrestler.
On another chariot which had a flag with image of a golden lion, there was mounted a man, quite young looking but determined. His body language indicated he knew no fear.
And on the third chariot which had Garud on the flag, there was mounted a curly haired man of dark complexion, dressed in yellow with a peacock feather on his crown. Although his face was serious, it still seemed to be smiling.
