The ethereal moonlight cascaded through the intricately designed windows, casting a soft glow that gently caressed their intertwined bodies, lying peacefully on the bed.

Manvendra was embracing Dhisana with a tender warmth that seemed to envelope her in a cocoon of safety and love. Although he was asleep, she was awake. How could she sleep after he had confessed his love to her ?

The flickering candlelight dances gracefully across the room, casting an enchanting glow upon her delicate features as she gazes upon him with unbound adoration.

With a tender smile playing upon her lips, Dhisana's eyes trace the contours of his face, taking in every detail as if committing them to memory. The way the lines of his brow knit together in peaceful repose, the way his lips rested softly in a serene silence, it tempted her terribly but she persisted the arrows Kaamdev was shooting at her.

As she observed him, her love for him swelled within her, enveloping her heart in a warmth that words failed to capture. Every breath he took seemed to be resonated in her soul, a melody of reassurance and belonging. Dhisana found solace in the rise and fall of his chest, knowing that her presence brings him comfort, just as his does for her.

Lost in her thoughts, she contemplated the sheer wonder of their union. How fate had conspired to bring them together, their destinies intertwined like the interlaced threads of a tapestry.

As the moonlight gently danced upon their entwined figures, her eyes eventually traced the battle scars that adorned his body. Each scar told a story of valor, sacrifice, and unwavering determination.

It's not that she hadn't seen his scars before, it's just that this time she could see how they portrayed the battles he had fought, the trials he had endured, and the strength he possessed within. Each mark etched upon his skin filled her heart with an overwhelming sense of admiration and respect.

As Dhisana gazed upon her husband's battle-worn body, she was reminded of the depth of his character and the depths he had delved into for the sake of their kingdom. She marveled at his unwavering dedication to protecting their people and preserving the tranquility of their land.

The scars on his body were testament to his commitment towards kingdom and Rajdharma. It was a testament that he was ready to endure anything for Hastinapur.

'If Rajdharma means so much to him, then it also becomes significant to me.' Dhisana thought.

Today itself she had seen in the play of Ramayan, how Dashrath fell weak in fulfilling Rajdharma due to Kaikeyi, and how Shri Ram was able to fulfil Rajdharma because of Devi Sita. This had now made her realise the power, as his wife, she possessed to assist her husband in shouldering the weight of duties and responsibilities.

Dhisana understood that she had to be the strength of her husband and not his weakness. She understood that she had to be the wind beneath his wings. She understood that her love and devotion must extend beyond their intimate connection.

'I promise to empower you so you can fulfill your duties, Raudra.' She vowed to herself.

She lovingly gazed at him while his eyes, remained closed in tranquility, exhibiting the remnants of all the days spent tirelessly attending to his duties, ensuring the prosperity and harmony of the kingdom.

A smile appeared on her face again as she marveled at the strength and warmth he exuded, a comforting presence that anchored her in a world brimming with uncertainties. With each breath of his, Dhisana finds herself surrendering to the soothing embrace of slumber.

As the quiet rhythm of his breathing lulls her senses, Dhisana can't help but surrender to the peacefulness of the moment. Nestled within the shelter of their love, she slowly succumbs to the embrace of sleep. Dreams intertwine with reality, weaving a tapestry of love and tenderness.
