Dhisana's thoughts consumed her like a swirling tempest, her delicate footsteps echoed against the marble floors as she reflected upon the play of Ramayan which she saw, while walking towards the balcony.

She gazed out at the moonlit garden, its flowers bathed in a silvery luminescence. The soft glow cast ethereal shadows upon her face, accentuating the subtle furrow of her brow, a reflection of her troubled mind.

As he closed the door behind, Manvendra couldn't help but notice his wife lost in her thoughts. Her distant gaze and frown hinted at a sea of emotions swirling within her. He approached her quietly, stepping closer to where she stood by the balcony.

"How was the play ?" Manvendra asked, standing beside her.

"Enlightening." Dhisana said simply, her gaze still fixed at the garden.

"So can I ask you a question ?" He asked.

Dhisana looked at him, and noticed something different. Something was different in the way he was looking at her. His usually reserved expression had softened, and a gentle warmth radiated from his eyes. She couldn't believe herself, she thought her mind was cheating her into believing something her heart wants.

"Shri Ram let go of Mata Sita to uphold Rajdharma. His duty. Does that mean he didn't love her ?" Manvendra asked.

"Absolutely not. There was unparalleled love between them both. It was just-" Dhisana stopped when the realisation dawned upon her, which Manvendra could see in her gaze that displayed her disbelief and confusion.

"I know that you have suffered a lot in this past year while waiting for me. But I too haven't exactly enjoyed my time without you." He said.

The words hung in the air, reverberating through the princess's stunned mind. She struggled to comprehend what he was implying through his question. Could it be true ?

"Are you saying that..." Dhisana was unsure and confused.

"That I love you." He said, his voice seemed to echo not only in the room but also in Dhisana's mind as stood there motionless.

The son of Vidur reached his hand out and took hold of her petite ones. His eyes shimmered with sincerity.

"I know you will have a hard time to believe me. But I am telling the truth. You have no idea what you have done to me. What you have fixed. You have breathed life into my being and awakened something that I never thought was possible again. You are my redemption, Dhisaney. My second chance at life." Manvendra said, his voice resonated with truth and vulnerability. The weight that had burdened his heart for so long now seemed to dissipate with every word he spoke.

The lips of Dhisana slightly quivered as they parted a little. She was accustomed to his stoic demeanor, the polished prince fulfilling his role effortlessly. But now, it was as though a hidden door had been opened, revealing a hidden side of her husband she had never glimpsed before. A side which was proving that he indeed the blessing of Shambhu for her.

With elation and heartfelt emotions intertwining, Dhisana couldn't hold back tears of sheer joy streaming down her face. Seeing this, Manvendra took a step forward and wrapped his arms around her.

Dhisana found solace and comfort in his warm embrace, allowing herself to surrender to the vulnerability of her tears. She felt an overwhelming sense of serenity wash over her, knowing that she was cherished and adored by the one for whom she prayed day and night. It was as if every tear that escaped her eyes carried with it a lifetime of happiness and affirmation.

Manvendra felt as if a wave of satisfaction washed over him like a gentle breeze. The weight of his unspoken feelings gradually lifted, replaced by an overwhelming sense of relief and contentment.

With every passing second, his heart swelled with an indescribable joy, a warmth radiating through his entire being. It was a profound feeling of satisfaction, as if he had emptied his soul, baring all his vulnerabilities, and received acceptance and reciprocation in return.

Manvendra's satisfaction bloomed into a sense of deep fulfillment, knowing that he had laid bare his heart and soul to the woman he held most dear.
