Jeongin knew he was the same guy the moment he saw his back when they entered the practice room. He was talking to Teacher Liu Jun, and Jeongin caught on that his name was Hyunjin, apparently.
"Yes, I have seen your performances at various schools. I am honored to have you a part of our team," Teacher Liu said shortly and sweetly. "Please welcome!"
"I'm honored to have you teach me," the taller bowed and after a brief introduction, Teacher Liu went to set up some things for the practice. Hyunjin turned around and made eye contact with Innie, making him jump. He sees me, he sees me....
"Oh, hi, we've met haven't we!" hyunjin said in a delighted tone. "Yeah I remember you went to school here! Well guess what, now I'm a student here too~"
Jeongin was genuinely taken aback by Hyunjin's happy-go-lucky behavior. Was it the same classy, cold blonde he had met the other day? "You are in the dance team now?" Jeongin finally sputtered.
"Yes it seems! Are you part of it?" Hyunjin said happily and did a little dance that Jeongin thought was cute. Man, talk about duality!
"U-um, no," Jeongin laughed shyly. "My friend Felix, he's part of the team and I came to watch him today." He gestured toward Felix's direction, who jerked his head in the opposite direction so Hyunjin wouldn't notice he had been staring at him.
"Ah, i see," Hyunjin responded, then he winked at Jeongin. "Well you make sure to pay attention to me too, okay?" and showed him a little finger heart.
Jeongin's mouth would've dropped open if his self hadn't been frozen by the sudden turn of words. He stared at handsome Hyunjin's face in awe, with the same feeling, how could a human being look so perfect?!
"Yes?" Hyunjin smiled coyly at Jeongin, waiting for an answer.
"Y- Um, y-yes!" Jeongin stammered in embarrassment. He looked down at the floor, blushing profusely. He heard Hyunjin laugh lightly, then he walked off because the practice had began.
He eventually dared to look up and saw Felix was looking at him with his mouth opened and eyes wide. Then he looked at Hyunjin, then at Jeongin again, shaking his head in disbelief. But he had to turn away to focus on practice.
While Teacher Liu came over and corrected a student, Felix made eye contact with Jeongin again and pointed at Hyunjin with a small finger, then pointed at Jeongin, then made a heart with his hands. Jeongin responded with his "Ew, Beomgyu" look and Felix silently laughed.
As practice went on, Jeongin couldn't take his eyes off the blonde. His dancing was amazing and Jeongin was afraid he would faint after watching him tie his hair up. Then as the time went by, Hyunjin got sweaty which made Jeongin think he was hotter than he could ever imagine. Yes, imagine--that Hyunjin had been flirting with him just before class!
It didn't help that once in a while Hyunjin would be looking at Jeongin's direction, smiling, and winking at him.
After practice, Felix was packing up to go home and Innie had gotten up, about the leave as well when he noticed Hyunjin was approaching him. His heart started beating faster than he ever thought it could go.
"Hey hey, Jeongin, are you in a hurry?" Hyunjin asked.
Jeongin tried to maintain himself. "um, not really--"
"Good," Hyunjin smiled and cocked his head as he "shyly" said: "I wanted to ask if we could exchange contact number."
Jeongin's heart stopped beating. No...he was too young to die now! I mean, maybe he wanted to die sometimes but not at times when his crush (Yes, admit that Hyunjin is his crush now) was asking for his number!
