Whats going on
Felix stared at his phone screen for a little bit, hoping for Innie to answer after he saw "Read" but time passed and he never saw an "...: Innie🫧 is typing" so he sighed and turned it off. Innie was mad at him again, but this time Felix really didn't know the reason.
So the anger on Friday had to do with Hakkun. Rage driven to the extent that Jeongin would bring blood into the picture. What pics? The first thing Felix thought of was the ones they took at the mall. No? He didn't show those to anybody. To convince and confirm himself furthur, he opened up his messages with Hakkun. He wasn't even friends with Hakkun really, and the last time he had texted him was like, 2 weeks ago.
But as Felix found his contact he became confused. The preview showed said Me: [pic] and Felix started getting nervous even though he was by himself. No way... he was sure he hadn't sent Hakkun any picture of anything...

"Good morning hyunjin hyung," Jeongin said sweetly Monday morning when they met each other in the hallway."
"Good morning~" Hyunjin sang lightly, "how is Innie today? You look so cute and cosy in that hoodie."
Jeongin blushed and giggled, temporarily forgetting about the horrid weekend. "I'm doing...okay i guess. What about you?"
"I'm good...but I heard there was some trouble during the weekend? Are you sure you're okay?"
Jeongin physically froze but his mind was running at a hundred miles per hour. What did Hyunjin know about the weekend? "Ah--, that...it's okay. Nothing big happened."
"You sure? I can't have anyone hurting you."
"Yeah, everything's okay!" Jeongin quickly repeated.
"If you say so," Hyunjin sighed and pouted slightly, but he was over it by the time they reached their lockers, which were next to each other. Like every other day, Hyunjin opened his locker and got his books off the shelf.
He paused and blinked twice at what was before him. Flowers and a silvery pink box? "What's this....?"
Jeongin looked over and saw the pretty gifts laid on Hyunjin's shelf, and a wave of sadness mixed with annoyance hit him. Not annoyed with Hyunjin of course, but annoyed that someone else liked Hyunjin enough to somehow get in his locker and leave gifts.
However as hyunjin was examining the box in his hands, Jeongin's eyes happened to land on something that was even more unexpected to him:
On the inside of Hyunjin's locker door was taped a picture of Innie's Lee Know-hyung.
(Earlier)
"Hannie, where're you going, it's still dark," Hyunjin mumbled and rolled over in his bed.
"Just for a chilly walk," Han answered casually and quietly, though is innermost being was afraid out of its mind. I'll be back before 'school.' You know, I need to, um, think about my, uh, mission..."
"Right." Hyunjin's voice was muffled by the pillow and he was silent. Probably going back to sleep since it crazy early in the morning.
Han stepped out of the dorm room, holding a bouquet of flowers. He hoped his plan would work. He came out the building and started down the sidewalk, then called over a taxi. As they neared Jeongin's school, he saw that there were indeed already some cars in the parking lot and some police cars for school security. As a gangster constantly watching out for officers, Han was even more fearful that he thought he might faint. But he couldn't now.
He had hugged Lee Know yesterday, and he thought it had to be the happiest moment of his life. But he also remembered Lee Know's words:
Innie is dead, I don't have any reason to live now. What good reasons are there?
And even if Hannie was still in the gang, his goal had shifted. Why was he still in the gang? Because he had wanted to save his own hide. But now he wished for something better, to bring those two precious souls back together, because he loved Lee Know so much. Lee Know was more important than any stupid leader called "Posh" Eun! If no one cared about love and justice, Han would do what's right by himself, alone! And also, how much it hurt Han to hear his love say that he wanted to die...
As he got out of the car and walked up the sidewalk, Han decided that acting casual would be better than acting like a sneaky criminal. He sauntered up where there was an officer and tried to look as normal as possible.
"Morning," he even said to the officer.
"Mornin'." the officer responded, then looked skeptically at Han. "What're you doing here? You a student?"
"No sir," Han replied, mentally hyperventilating. "I'm from the university a little bit away and today's my sister's birthday. I had a gift I wanted to put in her locker before she came to school so it could be a surprise. Can I go in?"
The officer studied Han suspiciously. "Where's the gift."
"It's just...some jewelry," Han fished out a pretty silvery and pink box from his deep pocket and offered it up to the officer. "And flowers in the car but I didn't get them just now because I wanted to check if the door was unlocked."
"Hmm..." the officer did not seem like he would give in. Han sweat and tried not to fidget, as he had just broken the law, lying to an officer.
"Lemme check you." the officer grunted.
"Yes sir," Hannie breathed and spread his arms out cooperatively. The officer patted him down and pulled out Han's wallet from his pocket. "Hmph," the man grunted and opened it up. Ruffling through the contents, he didn't seem to find anything harmful and instead pulled out a picture of a handsome teenager, blinked at it twice, and then put it back and handed Hannie his wallet.
"'Kay, go get 'ur flowers, and be quick." He muttered and hannie replied with a quick "thank you" and hurried back to the car. He pulled out the flowers and came back, and the officer opened up the front doors for him and followed him inside. He waited at the end of the hallway with his arms crossed as Hannie hurried over to Hyunjin's locker and opened up the lock (somehow he knew the passcode; but it's okay, the officer didn't seem to realise the strangeness). He carefully placed in the flowers and box, then quickly and smoothly taped Lee Know's photo onto the inside of the locker door.
There. If Jeongin stayed with Hyunjin as much as Hyunjin claimed he did, then he would definitely be able to see it.
He closed the locker and headed back to the officer. "Thank you sir, have a good day," he bowed politely and smiled cutely.
"Mhm," the officer grunted and came outside the building.
Hannie hurried over to the taxi still waiting, then asked to go home. He sighed with relief and settled back into the passenger seat.
He just hoped and prayed that Jeongin would notice it...
