Matt had slept over at Sylvie she was all packed for her girl hoilday with Shay.
"Sylvie you all packed how about I drive you to the Airport" Matt said
"Yeah I like that Shay invited to me her family" Sylvie said
"Yes I know I will miss you" Matt said
"I'm only gone a week plus Shay said she would never that another Furlough unless I came with her after the kidnapping that happened 2 years ago" Sylvie said
It was true after what happened with Papa lullo Shay never didn't want to take another Furlough without her best friend.
Matt drive Sylvie to the airport and Severide drove Shay to the airport.
"Right girls have fun" Severide said
"We will i love you Matt" Sylvie said
"I love you too now have fun" Matt said
"Don't worry Matt I take care of her" Shay said
Shay and Brett landed in Austin for a week of fun
"God girl I'm so excited to show you my home town" Shay said
"Oh thanks for the invite Leslie I know we fairly new partners when I first came to 51 you met and Kelly all made me feel very welcome" Sylvie said
"Look on of the things you learn is that 51 is a family firehouse we stick up for each other and look out for each other" Shay said
"Hey Leslie so glad you could make it" Megan said
"Hi Megan Sylvie this is my sister Megan" Shay said
"Hi Megan I happy to meet you" Sylvie said
"Megan this is Sylvie we work together on Ambulance 61" Shay said
"Wow you two look so simpler the blonde hair" Megan said
"Thanks I take has a compliment, and I've been Shay's partner on 61 for nearly 3 years" Sylvie said
"Well Leslie had told us so much about that we had to meet you"Megan said
Sylvie spend the day getting to know Shay family the all loved her and knew that they were just friends Shay had explained that Sylvie was straight The Shays explained all about Gabby and what she was like.
"Oh I wish I had meet Gabby I would have liked her" Sylvie said
"Yeah she would of like you too but I will tell you something after Dawson died everyone in the house was grieving, we thought we'd never get over it but you came into lives that little ray of sunshine you helped us move on you even gave Casey the chance to move on I mean your dating him your have put light back into everyone's lives" Shay said
After a week getting to know Shay family Brett fell close to her friend but I was now to head back to Chicago she loved meeting Shay family but she missed Chicago and Matt.
